Trimmer and comfier than its predecessor, the FORM Smart Swim 2 Goggles feature a 15% smaller tech pack, extended strap mounts, and finetuned eye seals that work together to stabilize and streamline our training experience. As we pull through the water, this pair utilizes their integrated heart-rate monitor and motion sensors to display our heart rate, time, distance, pace, stroke rate, and whatever else we want it to across the mirrored lenses that keep our view crisp, whether we're indoors or out. While in open water, we pair these goggles with our sports watch to catch distance and pace average, while the SwimStraight in-goggle digital compass keeps us on course. At the end of our session, our stats automatically sync to the FORM app so we can track our progress and share it with our triathlon community.

Solid Goggles for a Data Nerd

I've been a huge fan of training analytics ever since smart watches became a thing. These Smart Swim 2 Goggles fit in with it all rather swimmingly! The fit is perfect once I took the time to try different nose bridges - it's great that they offer that adjustability. Setup with the phone/Form app is incredibly easy and straightforward. The app comes with a 30 day trial (at the time of writing) allowing you to really get your feet wet risk-free. The display looks a bit funky out of water, but they're meant to be IN the water! Once in the water, the display is clear and vivid without distracting from the swim. The coaching features built into the app look incredibly helpful, though I haven't used them just yet. The heart-rate monitor built into the temple of the goggles works surprisingly well. I typically use a chest strap synced with my watch and have had mixed experience with it, but the goggles eliminate the need for one which is great. Finally, I love the programming options within the app. They make it seamless to sync your workouts onto the goggles for on-board instructions. No more having to keep count of laps and how many more in a particular interval, the goggles do the work for me! I'd highly recommend these goggles as a robust tool in your swimming arsenal.
