I was looking for some neat summer-weather pants and found these on sale. I am 5' 8" and mostly leg (32 inch inseam for pants that rest on the top of my foot) so finding pants that sit on my waist and reach the floor at the same time is sometimes a bore. These pants seem to get the job done though! When the waistband sits just below my stomach, the hem of the pant sits around my ankle bone. the crotch seam sits a little lower than I would like, but it's not so bad that it's a deal breaker. If I pulled the waist up to where the crotch seam was up all the way, the waist would sit funny and the hem would be at low-capri length. I think I will adjust to the cut of the waist/crotch seem pretty quickly. I love the barrel leg cut and how the linen influences the shape of it. it's very slouchy boho without being grungy. the fabric is soft for linen and rugged enough that I would gym climb in it - though I wouldn't take these pants climbing on real rocks. Overall, these are flowy, baggy, not too warm, not too cool. I love them, and cant wait to keep wearing them for years onward.
