Hard to figure it out.
Much more complicated than my Apple Watch. Instruction manual was microscopic. No way I could read the instructions. garmin connect and Garmin IQ are confusing. Utube videos helped a little but they tend to go really quickly. The 5 buttons on the watch are not well labeled. Almost sent it back.

Absolutely love
I absolutely love this. I bought this as a gift for myself and it’s amazing. Fits great, very comfortable. I work in the postal service so it’s handling the hard beatings very well. I get to customize the screen any way I like.

Great Watch
Great watch with a great battery life. Seems to be accurate with distance tracking. Good for hiking, running, hunting, or even tracking your sleep. Just a good all around. Have yet to dislike a Garmin product.

Solid Runner's watch
I bought this watch as an upgrade from a Vivioactive 3. I was a little intimidated by all of the features, but after a few days of working with it, I fell in love with it. I like the "good morning" feature which gives me notes about my sleep and other data. It's light and not huge like the Fenix watches, which is important to me. It gives me all of the data I could ever want or need. The display is bright and very readable. If you are an avid 5k, 10k Saturday jogger who likes to listen to music while they exercise, this watch is for you

For the price, this watch reliably does a ton and the connected Garmin app is super easy to use for tracking and training.

The watch has great features and the music option is awesome. The built in workouts are nice to have and the functionality of a touchscreen on a forerunner is what was missing on previous models.

Battery life! But so much more!
I bought the Garmin forerunner 165 music because of my frustration with the major “fruit” brand I’ve been wearing having terrible battery life! I couldn’t even get through my last marathon with it!! So frustrating! Once I made the switch to my Garmin forerunner 165 music I have gone a week in between charging and that’s running while listening to music! Since switching I’ve also came to really like the other features as well. Like sleep scores and others.

All you need.
I bought this a few weeks ago to replace my Apple Watch and I couldn’t be happier. This watch allows you to customize the face, as well as which stats are displayed at all times. Accurate gps for running, and helps you learn more about your health than you did before you owned it.

So light!
I have had other garmin watches and this one is so light to sleep with. I don't even notice when I wear it to bed at night.

This watch is great but...
I’m a big fan of this watch, especially the 165 model. It has many great features, but I wish I could just get the 165 itself. As an Apple Music user, I was disappointed to learn that the 165 Music version doesn’t support Apple Music. I was willing to switch to the free version of Spotify and use it exclusively for running, but I can’t do that because I need a premium subscription to access music features. Garmin, please consider adding Apple Music to your app store so that users like me can use it seamlessly with our watches, or at least make it obvious, that your partnered music providers require a subscription to be used for your platform.
