Great Upgrade
My wife bought me my new Garmin after my old Forerunner 45 expired. Amazing. What an improvement. Should have made the change long ago. Love being able to monitor my heartbeat during my runs. And other features are great, including recovery time and suggested workouts. Love my new Garmin!

Great entry point
I bought this about three weeks ago and coming from a gen one pixel watch and more typical smart watch there was a bit of adjusting to do. However once you get use to it from a fitness standpoint typical health trackers just don't compare to the trove of data Garmin offers you. The battery life is night and day too as it does last for days on end between charges. Feel this watch makes a great budget entry point of your on the fence about which one to get to start with.

Wrist-worn Magic!
This is my 3rd Garmin watch. My first was a 2005 Forerunner. Then a Foenix 5. My new Forerunner is in charge. I have great faith that, that’s to the coaching I’m receiving, I WILL get back in shape…

Uncertain
I am not a runner. Might not ever be. I have other ideas. What intrigued me was the sleep monitoring. But it is kind of off. I guess it is mostly accurate but sometimes off as much as a hour. But one recent period it recorded 3 1/2 hours when I was asleep for over 7. So it works as well as everything else around me. But

I'm really enjoying my 165
I'm very happy with all my new features but one thing that disappointing is my race goal times are not realistic to my rally time . Example 5k 18.37 to what I run fastest is 19.30 same with all of the goal paces are way off I believe this has me training to hard on every run and could lead to injuries. Also I'm training for a half marathon. I'm using garmin coach. my pr time is 1.31.00 so I'm trying to get a 1.30 but in the coach mode it's only letting me put a time of 1.32.00 but it's saying I should be able to run a 1.27.00 no way so this has me baffled?
