The watch’s advanced metrics—like running dynamics and training readiness—have really helped me fine-tune my workouts, making it feel like I have a personal coach on my wrist. And on top of that, the design is sleek and lightweight, so it’s comfortable enough to wear 24/7. It might be on the pricier side, but for an athlete who values detailed performance feedback and reliability, it’s totally worth the investment.

excels in multisport activities
The battery life is insane—I barely need to charge it, even with daily runs and GPS use. The AMOLED screen is gorgeous, making it easy to check stats mid-run, even in bright sunlight. The GPS is spot-on, and I love how it tracks Everything from heart rate to recovery, giving me insights I didn’t even know I needed. It’s not just for runners, either—I’ve used it for cycling and even swimming, and it handles it all like a pro.

Great Option For Running
This is a great option for anyone who runs. Does everything I need and tracks even more than that. I like the ability to add music to the watch and that it syncs well with my AirPods and YouTube music.

Great running watch
Great watch for specific run tracking. I run 50-100 miles a month and the run tracking and statistics are very immersive and interesting. I don’t love the other exercise tracking as you need to manually change sets/poses in strength and yoga training which is often overlooked and leads to inaccuracies. If you’re looking for a sleep watch I would look somewhere else as the sleep detection features leave much to be desired.

Such an Upgrade
I chose this device after a long time with a different brand of fitness trackers. I was immediately shocked about the difference between the Forerunner and my old watch. The Forerunner was WAY more accurate, like old watch overestimated activity by hundreds of calories and activity minutes. The Forerunner's battery life is incredible, I charge it once a week and it can easily last the longest of long runs. The Forerunner's AI is geared towards the more advanced fitness level, but a beginner can definitely learn to use all the features that this watch has to offer. I have been unbelievably happy with my decision to switch to the Garmin Forerunner and would never have gotten through my first marathon training without this watch.

Good watch but scratches easy
Watch is great but the screen is slightly raised, i cannot remember bumping it but yet has a number of small scratches on the screen. Had it about 9 months and the battery is nowhere near as good as it was when i first got it. Still last 10 days or so but used to be 3 weeks.

Full of bugs and build quality is so so
Easy to scratch and music app that plays the song always in the same order in shuffle mode. Music app crashes quite often too. I like the watch but I feel.like.my.money are not worth it. The silver vessel is aluminium I guess which makes it extremely prone to scratches and the watch looks 10 years old after a while. Silicon strap is too soft and sticky. Lots of functions I don't use and lots of things that irritates me.

Great screen but a step backwards for Swim
When you upgrade to a newer watch from a previous version (Forerunner 935), you shouldn't loose any functionality/features. I was very disappointed that you don't get 10ths or 100ths for you swim splits. The 935 gives you this, the 965 does not. The brighter screen and other additions are nice but as a triathlete, if you can't nail the basic swim, bike, run data and display, you've missed the mark. I dearly hope and beg Garmin releases a firmware update that re-enables/allows display of 10ths and 100ths.
