Forerunner 965 Watch

The large watch face is nice. It's comfortable to wear and it seems real accurate.

I use my Garmin Forerunner 965 every day and provides great data on running, sleeping, and general well being. My Garmin Forerunner 965 holds its charge for around twenty days so there is never any stress to find a charger. I'd recommend this product for beginners or experts. When paired with the Garmin Connect app the Garmin Forerunner 965 provides personalized training recommendations. For example when running it will give you a daily recommendation and even a path that it will direct you to follow.

I previously had a Forerunner 745 for ~5yrs. The Forerunner 965 has been an awesome replacement & upgrade! I'm 5'5" 125lb and the watchface isn't too big - though I wouldn't want to go any bigger. The battery life has been excellent! I have mostly used the run, trail run, treadmill, ski and backcountry ski activities so far. No issues to report. If I were to add a function, I would love a little flashlight like the Fenix has.

I got this one to replace my 955 solar. The battery life is exceptional, I used it with music for a 50k and only used 30% of the battery. light weight and comfortable, barely notice I am wearing it.

Switched from Apple Watch

This watch is exactly what i was looking for. The fitness tracking abilities are far superior than an apple watch. The battery life is a game changer along with how much lighter it is. The only thing i may miss from it is the ability to text or receive a call on the watch directly, but in terms of importance for me, it was a lower priority. If you are looking for a fitness watch with SOME smart watch capabilities this is the watch for you.

Best Watch Purchased

I’ve gone through my fair share of watches. I’ve used early models of Garmin and Polar. Probably the best watch I’ve ever used. Accurate, lots of features. The best feature is the sleep/HRV reads every morning. It helps me hone in on exactly what I need to change or keep to get a good nights rest and a high sleep score. The motivation and prompts are really $$ features. I would recommend this watch to anyone for any reason.

Still adjusting

I have had a Forerunner 945 for 5-6 years. I grew very accustomed to how it scored things like sleep quality and recovery times. This watch so far doesn't seem to track my sleep nearly as well as the 945. I do love the screen brightness and the loads of data it produces but I am not 100% that I got a better product than I previously had. (For information) I purchased the 965 due to the 945 screen delaminating, otherwise it was still working.

Fantastic watch for all sports

I have had this watch for almost a year and have had 0 issues. It does everything I could ever want, tracking all sports very well and giving a surplus of health insights. I recommend to anyone looking for an advanced do-it-all sport watch.

Battery life, screen and functionality win

Core funtions are strong. Does integrate with spotify although syncing is clunky..need wifi even if your phone is tethered. Live tracking only notifies recipients to email vs. text, but I think this is an iOS thing, blame apple. Default settings use laps which doesn't work for me and takes some configuration but overall works very well with some configuration...if you're and outdoor person beats apple watch all day long
