I have been wearing Giordana for 8 years. The Silverline fabric lasts much longer then the Pro. The pad is the same. And the Silverline is half the price if you buy on sale. I wear the new pairs on long rides an older pair is good for 20 miles or less, 2 hours on the trainer. New pair is good for all day. 50 plus miles. I only hand wash, cold water, very little soap. And only wash seldom. Usually just the center of the pad.

Fit was solid and similar to other shorts in same size I own. Material was less smooth in some places on outside, which while not an issue, seemed strange.

Comfy with Bad Seam
Shorts are super comfortable and don't move around at all. Would be nice if they offered it with a slightly shorter inseam like the more expensive options. Maybe runs a tiny bit small, but not to the point where I would change sizes. My only complaint is the seam that runs up the middle of the front of the chamois. It's not something that impacts the fit or comfort of the shorts, but does result in a noticeable pucker when not on the bike.

Quality shorts are worth the investment. These stay in place and don't require adjustments during your ride. Very comfortable, no chafing and padding is perfect. These are my go to!
