Why We Like The Strada Gel Glove
Giordana made their Strada Gel Glove for the roads that aren't exactly smooth riding. They're the kind of thing we're happy to pull on and keep on all day. They're constructed with soft material and a wiping spot on the thumb, plus the lycra fabric moves with you while you ride. Three separate regions of gel padding are present: One under the thumb, under the heel, and across the ball of the palm. The material breathes and extra grip treatment ensures purchase we wouldn't see otherwise.

Nice glove, reflective accents wash off

This is a very comfortable glove, fits well, nice padding. The reflective logo/accents washed off with the first wash (in cold water). If the accents are important to you, don't buy this glove if you plan to wash it. The color held, for the first wash, hoping it doesn't fade after subsequent washes. Would buy again, unless the color fades quickly.

not that good

Then look old quick. Stickers fall off and fading. Padding is OK but, the inside of the glove gets slimy. I'm thinking of getting gymnastic chalk to see if that works. I have, generally speaking, large hands but I get medium in my cycling glove so they're tight. These do hold up to that strain. Not worth list price at all.

Comfy but won't buy them again

Bought 3 sets of these in yellow in late summer 2019. Cushioning is great, they fit well, and fabric and stitching have held up well. Unfortunately, after just 2 summers of use they're looking sad: (1) The 3 silver decals on the backs (the bar, the unicorn with a bow, and "Giordana") fall off. The gloves have been washed only in cold water using "free & clear" detergent and hung dry. (2) The color has faded from a bright to a faint yellow. At least they haven't fallen apart and are still comfortable.

Nice and Cushy
