You won’t unhear the rattle…
The switch and vents rattle when in the closed position. This was the case for multiple models. If you listen to music while skiing or riding, it’s probably no big deal. That said, the loose switch and vents were going to get to me. Kinda’ like how once someone pointed out how JayZ goes, “uh,” and now it’s all I hear.

Very low rear adjustment wheel
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
Generally really like fit of Giro helmets. And for reference, my head fits most helmets for any sport I have needed one just fine. This model looks good online and in person and fit like others I have had in terms of circumference, but the rear adjustment dial was a couple inches lower than any previous giro, pinching into neck if, for example, in a tuck, or looking up. Seems like could be really bad in an impact crash on the back of head, like from a high side, would drive the adjuster straight into back of neck. Actually seems dangerous. Trading in for a Jackson which fits like ones I have had in past.
