The wool keeps you warm, but doesn't trap the moisture from your sweaty feet. Any odor magically disappears when you air them out. They will shed for the first few weeks.

I ordered the "Shoe Rubber Slipper" and couldn't be happier. My high instep makes it a bit difficult to put them on....I need to use a shoe horn, but they'll loosen up with wear. They're toasty warm, I would say they ever so slightly run small to true to size and I would highly recommend.

Long lasting, but forever shedding

I have had these slippers for about 2 years, and they have been used every day. I purchased a size 43, but if I were to do it again I would go with a 42. The shoe is like a warm pair of socks with a reassuring grip from the leather sole. My only complaint is the shedding never truly ends. After the first month, 90% of the shedding has been reached. But over the past 2 years, I have found the teal-blue wool shedding to this day. To be fair it's in little pills, and the shoe looks and feels exactly the same, but still somewhat annoying. I 100% would buy the slippers again, just be aware if you are a neat freak... These shoes may cause some stress.

I was looking for a slipper that didn’t make my feet sweat. I found that slipper. Perfect fit with my orthotic insole. It was limited selection in my size 10 so I chose Petrol with leather bottoms, turns out I like that color. So far no itching. My feet love these slippers. Finally found a great slipper.

Insert insoles for more arch support

I have had my Glerups for many years and they are holding up beautifully! One recommendation I would make?if, like me, you need more arch support, insert insoles into your slippers and voila! they are perfect and even a little warmer. I think the insoles create less wear and tear on the leather bottoms as well. Try it!

Wish I bought the rubber soles instead

Get these if you?re looking for an indoor-only shoe and your floors are relatively clean (if not the leather soles get dirty real quick). If you go in and out of your house often (say to take your dog out), your floors aren?t super clean, or you just want something that will last longer than a year then get the rubber sole. I'm an 8.5 and the size 39 fit true to size, however, if you have wide feet the opening on these might be a pain so get the slip-ons instead.

I've had these for a little more than a year and have literally worn them every day since they arrived. If I'm home, these are on my feet. They obviously get a lot of wear, but after 9 months or so they started to develop holes in the toes and the stitching began ripping in the back heal. Now, a bit over a year in the leather sole is beginning to tear and these are just about trashed. On one hand, I'm not surprised at the wear given how often I wear them, but on the other, I only wear them indoors, so the fact that they only lasted about a year gives me pause, especially at this price point (for comparison, a pair of LLBean slippers lasted about five years before they needed to be replaced). Given how comfy they are, I might just have to accept the fact that I'm tough on my house shoes and replace them each year, although for the next pair I might try the rubber-soled version to see if they are more durable. For reference, I wear a 9/9.5 and bought these in a 40.
