Delivers
I’ve had one for three years and used it in many climates. It is so useful. One is kind of dim for reading, but makes a great camp lantern and emergency light . Highly recommended.

Light cycling through colors
For those whose light goes through all the colors, you’re in “demo mode”. Hold the power button down for 10 seconds until the white light comes on. You will be out of demo mode and be able to use the normal modes as indicated on the back of the packing it came on. Goal Zero- you might want to mention this on the back as well. Several 1 star ratings indicate people not knowing about demo mode.

EXCELLENT packable lantern
The Crush Light's are a fantastic, packable lantern! They are very lightweight and last a long time, especially when used in the lower light setting. Because they pack flat they are great to have on hand during power outages. overall a great small lantern for any outdoor activities.

dead after a year
I have two of these, bought in the same year. Both are dead. I've tried charging for days to no avail. (Same charging setup charges other devices.) As far as I can tell these are not repairable, which is quite unfortunate. I would not buy these again.

Still works after 4+ years of heavy use!
I got this lantern in fall 2019. I have used it on every single backpacking, ski mountaineering, and car camping trip. It’s incredibly reliable considering it’s lightweight, folds flat, and is 100% solar powered. It’s hard to believe I’ve never had issues with it turning on or off or holding power throughout the night even when recharging during PNW cloudy days. For its size, weight, power performance, recharge rate and party vibes with the changing colors, I can’t imagine what other lantern I’d want or need. Truly an item I love and never leave at home.

Mine will not charge by using the solar panel. Is there anything special I need to do? I bought it purely for this feature and it is such a bummer it won't work.

I can’t seem to get it out of demo mode. I’ve held it for over 10 seconds, but it reverts back to demo mode
