breakable charging design

The charging design cannot reallly fit into an outlet. Horrible charging design. Next there is only USB and no C. So, why are they selling this in 2025? It is outdated.

Terrible charging design
Absolutely terrible charging design. Forget even trying to plug this thing directly to an AC adaptor. Get a USB extender, and find something that is just the right elevation so that the Flipout is exactly horizontal with the extender attached to the ac adaptor. that is the only way this thing will charge. If you even bump it slightly, it will stop charging. I wish i could just return this thing but i got it as a gift, so i just have to make it work.

Do not buy this product
My first one lasted for about 4 trips until the charging USB broke off. Just bought a second one and now on my second time out the blue light blinks but it won’t charge. The owners manual is of no use.

Durable and Long Lasting

I’ve had the Goal Zero Flip 36 Recharger for a few years, now. I take this charger both on international/domestic travels as well as camping and backpacking trips. This charger is extremely reliant and efficient. I can charge my >10% iPhone battery and an Apple Watch with plenty of spare charge left. Really great for a multi day trip. Love the ease of charging the machine itself as well.

Flip 36 - don’t trust the advertisement
The Goal Zero Flip 36 is the worst electronic product I have purchased, but I guess you get what you pay for? I am just disappointed because it never worked the way you advertised. I took great care of it and it just stopped working within 6 months of use. It never seemed to recharge my iPhone “up to 3 times” lucky if I got 1 full charge and now the unit itself won’t even recharge. Not to mention, the fold-out usb port is a terrible design - very weak and just waiting to break. Now that I’m looking for a more heavy duty portable charger, how could I even entertain Goal Zero after such an experience with their entry level product never performing to how it’s advertised? Did I get a defective unit?

Not durable
Charging port (flip) breaks. Not immediately but shortly after 1 year warranty runs out. Tons of better bank chargers for less money that last much longer.

My Flip 36 and Flip 12 do not charge my Apple Watch. They both charge my phone. I also have a Venture 70 and it charges my Apple Watch without any problem. Is the Flip series not capable of charging Apple Watches or are both of my batteries defective?

there Is a specific cable for charging flip 36 with nomad 10? does the flip 36 connect directly to Nomad 10 like flip 12? but...If I put my nomad 10 over the rucksack for recharge in trekking, how I can I connect the flip 36 to the panel?
