Lighthouse 600
The Goal Zero Lighthouse 600 separates itself from electronic lanterns with multiple charging configurations. One of the coolest features is the ability to use a self-powered crank to charge the lantern when the battery runs out. Just one minute of cranking gives you ten minutes of lighting, which is just enough for performing essential duties after the neighborhood's electricity goes out during a thunderstorm. For off-grid campers and survivalists, the Lighthouse 400 plugs into Goal Zero's solar panels for a truly sustainable energy source.

Bright light
Bright light. I received one as a gift about 2 years ago and use it almost daily for walking the dog in the dark along the road. Post one such use, only one side of the light came on. It is still bright enough to see and be seen.

Excellent & Lightweight with long battery life!
This lantern is excellent, small, lightweight, with outstanding battery life and easy to use. I purchased it for a 96-year old relative to use during power outages instead of candles and she took to it right away. Weeks later she couldn’t remember I gave it to her but she did tell me Al about it and how she loved it! 😀

I like the crank handle, E- flasher,USB port.
I bought this lantern years ago, And The last two years Since my brother Disconnected my Power line i've been using it full time at night. The only problem I have always had when charging, Is that the chord where it connects to The lantern has a short in it.And I have to rig up the cord position , so it will charge. And I have had to use the crank many times because of no sun. I really like it! I need To buy a couple more when I get The money saved up.

Good Latern
I’m using this mainly for home during outages and outback in the late evening when out by the fire. Works well, sturdy and gives off a lot of light if you need it. Looked at other brand options but this checked the boxes…Hoping to get years of usage

Super efficient.
I won one of these at a silent auction years ago and it is the best lantern ever. I can charge it at home and it last the entire 4 day weekend plus it keeps my phone charged. I can hook it to the top of the tent and use 1/2 of the light when I want to walk.

Get this Lantern!
I love this lantern. Got it after a series of severe winter storms that left us in the dark. This little lantern is a powerhouse! We use it during outages and camping trips. It can provide light for an evening meal, reading at bedtime and still have enough juice to recharge my cell phone.

What do I do when the lantern won't turn off?

There are very different run times for 180 vs. 360 degrees of light, but how does one turn on just one side of the lighthouse 600? There's a knob. I turn it slowly, both sides light up. What am I missing?
