Why We Like The UltraPress Purifier Bottle

The award-winning UltraPress Purifier Bottle simplifies the filtration process, giving us pure, soul-quenching H2O in mere seconds. We just fill the outer bottle, give the cap a half turn (to vent air without risking contamination), and press the inner bottle back inside. Seriously, that's it. The ultra-powered activated carbon does all the hard work, letting us sit back and reap the reward.

Fantastic for travel

Love this bottle. Looks great and works great. I’ll be using it for my time in India and I’m so happy to not have to buy a bunch of plastic bottles when I’m there. My travel partners also bought the bottle after seeing just how functional they are. I went with the smaller size.

Love it and recommend it highly, but leaks when on its side.

I like this so much I bought one for my brother and my son. The water tastes clean whether I am out hunting and dip into a stream or if I am at the airport and don’t trust the fountain. Only is sue I have had is that it leaks slightly when on its side no matter how snug I make all the interfaces. This doesn’t out weight it’s performance and other advantages.

Amazing

I work in outside as a heavy equipment operator, rain or shine hot or cold I'm outside sometimes in remote areas. My grayl has gotten me thrugh some tough times where I ran out of water and only had either a stream of water to collect from or a man made water well. . with my grayl I was able to continue working and staying well hydrated with peace of mind that the water I consumed was safe to drink. Thank you grayl for this great product. .

Another perfect vessel

This one was actually a gift for my daughter. This last summer, my wife used my Grayl for an overnight backpacking trip and loved it. She liked the Grayl better than her Berky!! So, I got her one, however when they went on sale, she ordered one for all of the kids. If my wife likes a product so much she buys one for herself and all of her kids……. . That says a lot!

filter water bottle for travel

I have not used the bottle yet, but it looks durable and well made. I wish the cap had a tether like the GeoPress model to connect it to the bottle so that it won't be lost if it fell.

Meets all expectations for design

Meets all expectations for design and functionality. Good size for every day use in the backcountry where water supply is prevalent. I'll be evaluating durability over a 100+ nights in the backcountry during the new year.

I have not had a

I have not had a chance to use this out in nature. But I have tried it a couple times with tap water and it is simple and strait forward. Fairly easy to press down. I like the blue color and it all seems to be well built.

Ultrapress

I bought this a month ago and used it on a recent trip. Does the job. Took a bit to get used to but now it’s pretty easy. Must have for any international travel where water is questionable.

Relief to always have safe water

I bought this both for travel and in case my home well pump ever conks out. It is a simple, compact design that is super easy to use and I like being able to add electrolytes. A BADLY NEEDED DESIGN IMPROVEMENT is a way to keep the small cap attached. I was carrying this purifier in a side pocket of my backpack when I was walking through the airport and I saw the cap roll off down the floor - CRITICAL loss if I had not seen it! It should be attached! Also, the locking ring for the cartridge can be tricky to keep "unlocked" when taking the cartridge on/off - not critical, just a pain.
