Great but not waterproof

Bought this for a trip to Glacier and Yellowstone with lots of hiking. Pack is mostly great for access storage and size. My great disappointment is that it isn’t really waterproof at all. We got caught in long and heavy rain. As it cooled off I went to pull out my warmer layers and they were completely soaked. The flap over the top zipper led me to believe that I was well prepared. Unfortunately I did not see anything on the site that offered a rain cover or stated that it wasn’t waterproof. My error clearly but served to put a damper on a great product.

Functional and Comfortable

Got this pack for day hikes. I always end up carrying light jackets/rain coats for my wife and our two kids, as well as snacks for everyone. I always slip a pack fly rod and spin rod in just in case. Very comfortable pack, even when loaded full.

Simple design that works well!

I bought this pack for both bikepacking (mountain biking) and scrambling. Haven't tried it for scrambling yet, but for the bikepacking trip it worked well. A little head tap on the steeper descents but overall the pack sits low enough from the head when descending. It didn't flop from side to side on rougher terrain. It's a simple design, which I like! The hydration system is superior - slides in well when full, easy to attach, detach. I'm an 18 inch torso and I find the 'mens' packs fit me better than the womens.

Great Day Hike Pack

Purchased this pack for my husband after I was so pleased with the women's equivalient (Juno 24) and he loves it. We both agree these are the most comfortable hiking pack we've ever worn. We covered over 30 miles in Glacier National Park wearing our Gregory packs and absolutely recommend them!

Great value

Bought this for my son to go on 12 to 20 mile day hikes with myself and our Boy Scout troop. if everything he needed to take with him and stay hydrated while being extremely comfortable. What more can you ask for?

Don’t believe the positive reviews.

I'm a 5'11", 185 Ib male, and a fit/fast hiker. I just received the Citro 24 (with bladder included) and it is a major, major let down. I currently do longer day hikes (10+ miles) with the Gregory Miwok 18, which is a great pack, but I am a big sweater regardless of temps and always end up drenching the back of my shorts. I wanted a pack with a suspension back to solve this problem, and the Citro seemed like a perfect fit. Nothing could be further from the truth: 1) The suspension system is absolute garbage and useless because there is zero suspending occurring. With the bladder full, the suspension part presses directly onto your back and onto the bladder. It literally does not suspend. There is no space between your back, the suspension, and the pack. None. 2) The reviews that criticize the volume of this pack are accurate. With the bladder full, it cutsdeeply into the main section volume. I mean, it REALLY reduces the volume. 3) The hip belt pockets are tiny. I could barely fit two gel packs in here with the pack on. The interior pocket is tiny as well, and the front exterior pocket has a weird thick divider in it that takes up volume for no reason. 4) The external water bottle pockets are loose, and you run the risk of the water bottle falling out when bending over. The compression straps don't cross over the water bottles to prevent this (like they do in my Miwok). This pack is great in theory but poorly executed. Don’t fall for the marketing ploys and discounts to entice you into buying one.

Great pack

I already have a Gregory Miwok 12 and a Baltoro 74, but needed something in-between for a week of hiking in Yellowstone/Grand Teton. Perfect size day pack. No complaints
