Why We Like The Deva 60L Backpack
The Deva is the most customizable pack Gregory has ever created. With the hipbelt padding and torso length dialed in, this pack feels like an extension of self as we conquer demanding terrain. The Free Float suspension system features hipbelt flex panels that absorb shock and movement, giving us a stable, dynamic carry, while the rotating shoulder straps automatically adjust, letting the airy mesh foam sit just where we need it to. Not only does this design reduce the impact of our heavy load, but it also reduces its impact on the environment, diminishing its carbon footprint by 30% compared to standard nylon packs.

Great distance pack
I am very picky with my packs, as I believe everyone should be, but this pack was everything I was needing and more. Many convenient pockets and storage space, and as an organizer I appreciate being able to keep different things separate. Sturdy hip belt and many minor adjustments can be made to custom fit this to your body shape, making your trips all the more simple. The color is also gorgeous. I will be sticking with this pack for years to come.

Great pack so far...
I've just bought this pack and only used it for a couple of day hikes so far but loaded it up with 30 lbs and have been very happy with how it feels and the adjustability of the pack. I had originally purchased the Kalmia but just could never get it adjusted to feel right so I exchanged it for the Deva and am much happier with it. The quality of the pack seems very well constructed and based on Gregory's reputation I have no doubt that it will hold up for many many years to come.

I used this pack on a 5 day trek earlier this summer. I purchased it specifically for the organization capabilities. There are pockets all over and I can separate out my stuff so that I can find it easily. The waist belt pockets are a bit small, but I used a hip pack in addition to the backpack, and that worked for me. I love the fact that I can attach things to the outside for quick access. I have my camp shoes (Merrells) attached to a carabiner on the back and can attach my trekking poles to the sides when not in use. Looking forward to taking it to Philmont next year as well as shakedown hikes in between.

Super Comfortable and Great for Backpack Camping
I love Gregory backpacks and the fit of it for my body on my back, hips, and spine is really wonderful. I have used this one for backpack camping and is my main backpack for Car Camping to store items that aren't in boxes. I think they did a great job with the structure of it and technology in order for it to fit women's bodies. Brava

So much space and pockets!
This backpack is great! I used it on one backpacking trip so far and I loved it! Seems like the people that designed the backpack thought of just about everything. I was able to stick my bladder bag in there and all my other gear with some extra room. There are so many pockets for organization and quick access. I also liked the color and design of the pack (I got eggplant). The bag is a bit heavy on its own which isn’t great but it provides a lot of support and has stiff straps that go around the waist, taking a lot of the weight off your back, so I think it’s worth it.

fits the best
Had a Gregory Deva XS, burgundy as my first pack bought several yrs ago. It carried all my stuff. Invested since then (2020) several pricey, "UL" packs from different vendors, yet, I keep coming back to the Deva. It seems to fit me the best as I am short waisted. I have taken this pack literally all over the world. I used it many times in dreadful conditions. The pack pockets are small and the zippered one freezes; I don't use the pockets anyway, opting for a fanny pack. Ive tried many others, but this product really fits well, and has held up. I am careful with my stuff but eventually, the fibers give up. I have not experienced any failures in the fibers or disasters of any sort. I do, however, take the pack ON the plane with me, so it's not thrown around by Baggage Loaders; I am really partial.o it. It holds inside my poles and water bladder. Invested in a magnet for the chest and some other auxiliary items which were well worth the additional expense. I can carry my tent, sleeping bag; clothes, cookware; filtration stuff and other necessities easily. I am a 70+ female.

It has a place for everything!
The only drawback of this pack is the base weight. Fortunately, I'm used to rucking, and as of now, I haven't done any long thru-hikes, so the ultralight isn't as much of a priority for me. This pack is comfortable, spacious, and easy to keep things organized. It is highly customizable to your frame. I splurged on it for my first backpacking pack, as I know the value of investing in quality up front after rucking for years. I am very happy with my decision!

love the layout
I've taken this pack on multiple multi-day backpacking trips and I always carry 15-20 lbs of photography gear and I can barely feel that weight! Also straps are compatible with PD camera clip + you can use all the pockets on the sides/top for quick access to multiple lenses.

Works well for long-term backpacking
I went on a 12-day backpacking trek with my 14-year old daughter last summer. She was 5’ tall and 100#’s. I was worried she wouldn’t be able to carry all her own gear so I upsized the pack I’d been using for 15-years to this Gregory Deva. I liked that it had exterior pockets. My older pack has nice size pockets and I really appreciate the way they help me organize everything, especially in bear country where you need to know where your smellables are for efficient, effective removal to bear bags. The pockets on the Deva are situated differently on the pack, which does affect how much I can put in them. It also makes it a little harder to have a hiking partner remove things because they’re a little hard to find. But they’re there and noticeably missing on most packs these days to save weight. The Deva fit well to my body, held my hydration bladder well, and carried the load well. I recommend if you need a large pack.

Awesome Backpack
Awesome pack, just got back from a 5 day hike in the Sawtooth Wilderness where my wife hiked with it for 5 days. It performed flawlessly, she loved it. Which is saying something considering she had never done anything close to what she accomplished up and down the Sawtooth Mountains. Very lightweight, durable, and comfortable.
