I love that companies have started making extended fit sizes. I have another daypack that doesn’t feel that great because it’s a lot smaller. This one has a comfortable hip belt and the shoulder straps are longer than standard packs and don’t dig into my armpits. There’s enough space for both shorter and longer hikes, and different kinds of weather.

Perfection for the curves
I've been hiking with all kinds of different packs over the years, but none have compared to this Gregory Juno 30 H2O Plus size. I have broad shoulders, 5' 7" wear a 38/40 G cup, XL- 1X tops and bottoms with plenty of hips... I'm usually partial to "men's packs" since the shoulder straps are slightly wider, but they still never fit right especially in the bust and armpits, if there's a hip belt it is usually extremely tight. I tried this beauty on and was literally jumping up and down because it fit MY BODY so well! (not to mention how comfortable it is and moves with you!) This pack is amazing all around (I bought the June 24 H2O for my mom who is straight sized) the airflow is amazing on the back, the padding is so nice and with the hipbelt/fins that actually fit with huge easy access pockets... WOW the water reservoir is great and I love the magnetic easy access on the chest strap. The sunnies strap is great, and I love that there's a dedicated spot for my trekking poles. The compartments are huge and I can even fit all of my camera equipment plus snacks or I can load up for a quick overnight. The only Itty-bitty complaint is it doesn't come with a rain over but that's an easy fix. Thanks Gregory for a great pack that fits those of us with curves!

Awesome pack with just one complaint…
After putting on some pandemic weight, my Osprey packs barely fit, we’re rubbing me under my arms, and the hipbelt pockets basically became buttbelt pockets. When I discovered the Gregory plus packs, I was overjoyed and my experience with this Juno 30 pack has been amazing so far. I really appreciate how Gregory has worked hard to not just offer a longer belt strap like t some other brands do and call it a day. Instead, I feel like this pack is really made to fit plus size bodies. I’m still not used to being able to reach vertically down into my hip belt pockets and constantly find myself reaching behind, but it’s a positive change that I’m getting used to. Also, I love how stable the pack feels on my hips. My only gripe is that I wish the shoulder straps were slightly less wide. Yes, the padding is lovely, but they rub slightly against the front of my upper arms when I’m striding with trekking poles. Overall, it’s still a really great pack that I use all the time. I also recently purchased the Kalmia 60 (not from this website, alas) and I hope that Gregory puts out more plus packs soon. Representation is everything and while us plus folks are finally getting a little love, it’d be awesome to get as much as the rest. 👍

Wanted to love it, but frame digs into body
I loved everything about this pack except the frame. With many trials I could not get the weight distributed right AND not have the corners of the frame digs in right below my si joint area. Curious if it's a short people problem as I'm 5'2. Seems high quality, good overall pocket arrangement, hip pockets I can get to (!!), cinches down for small loads or can be stuffed to the max. Good carry-on size too. I'm returning it and hoping they make the same thing without a frame. I'd buy it in a heartbeat, despite the sticker shock.

Hip belt not retractable like other plus size pack
I don’t like the Juno style regular or plus size. Feels cheaply made compared to the other styles. I wish the extended hip belt was retractable like my kalmia and katmia plus size packs I have. I’ve been losing weight so the hip belt on the Juno would be too big eventually and then I wouldn’t be able to tighten it down properly. I returned for a men’s Zulu 30.

Large-sized Backpack
This beautiful, large daypack is AMAZING!! Fits perfectly with its many adjustment straps. And BY FAR the most comfortable pack I have ever worn, carrying 15 to 18 lbs of back country day-hiking gear and, mostly, water. If you're a larger person, give it a whirl. You'll be glad you did!

Incredibly comfortable daypack
Overall: this is a great daypack!! Pros: The water bladder sits in its own pocket, which is awesome because it doesn't interfere with space in the rest of the pack. The regular compartment includes tons of space that can hold the 10 essentials. There is a pocket with a zipper that can hold keys and other small items you don't want to get lost. I just feel like I'm also finding little spots to stash stuff and I love it! Super comfy straps and it's become my everyday pack! Cons:

Yay for plus size
Love this plus sized pack. It's such an amazing feeling to finally have a hip belt that sits properly and distributes the weight, with pockets I can reach! The mesh back panel keeps me cool on long hikes. Lots of useful pockets. Tried is it this weekend on a 17 mile hike and super happy with it

What is the maximum size of water bottle that would fit securely in the side water bottle pocket on the JUNO 30 H2O PLUS SIZE - WOMEN'S backpack? I guess circumference would be the best dimension to go by here. Thanks!

Can you confirm that the hip pockets in this pack or more accessible for big and beautiful humans? I’ve been looking at hydration backpacks from multiple companies and am considering giving this pack a shot. Also kudos for the plus size line!
