4/5
Perfect with one exception, the front zipper has no ability to be secured. This might be a pickpockets delight for the inattentive.

Perfect pack for my needs
Absolutely love this pack. This is my fourth Gregory pack and they have all been great at meeting my specific needs. I’m a pilot and I ordered this pack to use as my flight bag. The inside compartments are perfect for storing my headset, iPad, charts, etc. the bag is comfortable and very well made. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

First Gregory and I'm Impressed
Bought this for travel but haven't taken the trip yet so this is just an "unboxing" review. Quality of the pack, shoulder straps and zippers is outstanding. Exterior fabric appears to be very durable. This is my first Gregory and I am very impressed with the workmanship. I got it on sale and it is an excellent value compared to other similarly sized packs. This pack fits a size niche for me between a 16 L Arc Teryx Mantis 16 and an Osprey expandable 26+6 L. I can't comment on functionality of the pocket arrangement since I've not taken my trip yet.

Looks great with great features
My husband just used this backpack for 2 weeks in Japan. It was perfect for the plane and for walking around everyday. It's really great quality with useful pockets and organizers. He loved everything about it and it looked great on him.

Great quality bag.
I love this bag. It has a great look and is so well made. Gregory does not short on quality. Love the many compartments for all my gear. The bag holds so much without looking too bulky on my back. It’s my new EDC.

Well Designed With Superb Materials & Craftsmanshi
I'm sort of a backpack, bag, luggage geek and over many years have purchased way too many (so my wife says). I do consider myself to be a very experienced backpack user/reviewer. I am also a pro photographer and often use backpacks (with cubes) as opposed to camera backpacks internationally. I stumbled onto this pack at a local shop and was very impressed. It is a great all rounder and so very well designed for convenience and durability. I find the 20L size to be not too big, not too small as an EDC or even for a day hike or city jaunt. It excels in perfection mainly for the smart design. I honestly can't think of one thing to change or add...that's rare for me as a backpack collector. There was nary a thread or miss sewn anything, excellent craftsmanship! I ended up choosing the brick red for a touch of fashionista...I don't feel we need to always have black, gray or navy to be cool or incognito. I also prefer having a laptop space inside the main compartment as opposed to a separate area in back. Overall I'm very pleased with this bag and it will be one of my special bags in my collection. Pretty much a go to for EDC. Well done Gregory!

Great Everyday Commuter Pack
Overall, great pack for everyday use and the perfect size (20L) for commuting to/from the office. It holds a 15" laptop snuggly. It does not stand upright on it's own. Items inside the pack have to arranged for perfect weight distribution for it to stand up right - in reality, no one is going to take the time to rearrange contents every time an item is added. It's doesn't have the most comfortable shoulder harness system - it's padded, but a little stiff/rigid out of the box - hopefully it breaks in and softens with a more use. Because it lacks strap keepers, there are A LOT of dangling straps. I find this annoying, so I trimmed about 8" off each strap, melted the ends, and re-sewed the ends into loops (just like the factory ends). It looks much cleaner without so many dangling straps. As long as you melt the ends re-sewing the loops isn't totally necessary (but it is good insurance against raveling). A few changes would make this pack near perfect: - Add microfiber lining to the top quick access pocket for better protection against scratching items like sunglasses. - Add strap keepers to clean up dangling straps. - Make the bottom flatter and more rigid so it will stand upright on it's own.
