We like the Grundens Buoy X GORE-TEX 3L Bib because it's breathable and durable without being overly bulky. The 3-layer GORE-TEX membrane remains the industry standard for durable and breathable waterproofing, and it's also windproof to cut chilly breezes on deck. sturdy fabric
well made with room in the things and hips. I’m able to climb up the ladder to the roof of my boat without them binding

No bibs
The bibs were oversold and I never got mine. Very upsetting as I was looking forward to having the whole suit but just have the jacket. The jacket is very nice but the gambler bibs to go with it seem very light weight.

Great Quality. Poor Design
Grundens makes great products and the quality of this product is fantastic just like the other Grundens products I own. Although the quality of this product is great it's design lacks, which is why I can only give it three stars. The biggest issue that I have with this bib is the zipper placement. It does not go all the way down to the crotch and this makes it very difficult when you need to relieve yourself. I end up having to take the shoulder straps off each time which to me defeats the purpose of having the zipper in the first place. If the zipper went all the ways down to the crotch without it being blocked with that extra material this problem would not exist. Additionally, there is only one pocket and for the price I expected there to be multiple.

Great just not for tall people
Bought these for the simple reason that I needed a good pair of weather proof bibs for work. Every other bib I had gotten just ripped or rain eventually got in. Have had these for three years now and are still putting up with my abuse. The only reason I wouldn’t buy them again is because I’m 6’5” and they don’t really fit me. Tried to extend the straps, no luck. I finally just took them to a seamstress and had them extended. Problem solved. But wish every clothing company out there really would consider us tall humans. And I’m on the short side.

Inside layer blow out.
As I enter my third year of being an AB deckhand working tug and barge hauling freight in western Alaska 7 months of the year my duties require me to perform in extreme weather conditions performing extreme tasks. I recently made the mistake of putting the bins on while wearing my work boots and the entire inside from the waste down of the bibs blew out making them virtually impossible to wear and definitely very difficult to currently put on. They lasted me one entire season (7 months) and only one month into this current season. My heart is broken but I will still forever wear Grundens as they are unmatched. Now I only wish I had a second set.

The best pair of bibs ever
These are the best pair of bibs I’ve ever owned. As a guide, a charterboat captain, and a deckhand I have put these bibs through some abuse every season and they still have their complete waterproof and I’m dry at the end of every trip. Plenty of storage space and clips for a belt. I have all of my tools I need on me at all times.
