Lightweight & lofty. Heavenly.

My dad has Parkinson’s, which has severely impacted his mobility and motor skills in the last year, and with the colder months approaching, he was frustrated with typical down blankets that were heavy, bulky and hard for him to maneuver, particularly after a traumatic fall where he broke 9 ribs. 😭 I was scouring everywhere for the lightest but warmest blanket I could find that was no bigger than a full-size; then, I woke up in the middle of the night: camping blanket!! Within minutes, I found reviews for this blanket. I immediately bought it and had it sent to his house. My dad has been using it for a month and has loved it from the second he got it. (But, I was pretty sure he was just saying he liked it because he didn’t want to disappoint me.) I finally got to visit him, and I just felt this amazing blanket for myself and wooowww It is lofty & luxurious without feeling heavy at all. I was worried the nylon fabric would be slick and slide everywhere, but it isn’t at all. It doesn’t feel overly-utilitarian or “camp-gear” like at all. The fact you can pin a sheet to it so you only have to wash the sheet- GENIUS!!! WHO IS THE DESIGNER FOR THIS BLANKET GIVE THEM A RAISE. The fact that it’s water resistant- PERFECT!! It really exceeded my expectations. No, we don’t use it for camping, so I can’t vouch for it in the wild, but I can say that my dad is warm, comfortable, and can get in/out of bed safely because of it. And although I don’t have the luxury of living close by to help him as much as I’d like- you’ve made me feel like a hero. ❤️
