I was surprised to see the model in one of the photos wearing these gloves while walking his dog because that’s basically what I use them for as well. I have one medium and one larger-sized dog and they get walked two times a day on leashes regardless of the weather here in southwest Montana. The leather is very soft, as is the liner. The have been warm and they are my go-to winter gloves for walking the dogs and for daily wear. The only negative (and the only reason for four instead of five stars) is that the leather is somewhat delicate, as should be expected. The friction from holding on to the two leashes has caused some heavy wear to the interior grip portion of the gloves and while they’re still warm, they look like I’ve owned them for at least five years despite this being my first winter with them. I treat all of my possessions with care, but these looked like they’ve been put through the wringer after just a few month of use. If you don’t plan to utilize them for an activity that involves the active use of your hands (gripping something), but rather general every day use, they’ll be great.

Purchased as a present for my husband, who loves these gloves. He says they're incredibly soft leather, and comfortable and warm. Immediately became his favorite winter work gloves. Worth every penny.
