good approach gloves
I've used them 2-3 times for back country ski touring. I think they'd be good to upper 20 degrees depending on your comfort level. I wish they had a wind cover that is retractable like some other gloves I've seen - would really expand their range. I like my gloves on the more snug side, and used their sizing guide and they run a little big for me. I would buy them again with the above limitations in mind.

Versatile, tactile, awesome

If your looking to keep the chill off your hands during the fall/winter months without compromising dexterity I would definitely recommend these gloves! Great option for spring skiing or ski touring as long as it isn't superrr cold (perfect for the skin track most days); and also great for daily use doing things like cleaning the snow off your car, driving said car until it thaws out or going for a winter stroll.

Love them

Using for ski touring. Surprisingly, my hands have not been overheating. They're very dexterous too. Can do all transition action with them on. Finger curveture is awesome. Super natural feeling. They are a little light when t when temps get to 15f or so and below.

I purchased these gloves for a Bolivia trip in June. I can wear a size 6 or 7. I purchased these in a size 8 so I can wear glove liners with them as well. The quality of the leather is very good and already soft and supple. I also purchased the Hestra leather balm and started working that into the leather while it is still new. I have been wearing them in the mornings on bike rides to further break in the gloves. The gloves do have a light prima loft lining that I appreciate. These gloves are one of my favorite purchases that I have made for this trip. These gloves are well made and a good value.

Exceptional gloves

Wish I?d bought these years ago. I would have saved time and money. Fit and feel are great. With care, the leather will hold up. Mink oil is doing a good job thus far. Measurement worked best from top of middle finger to wrist instead of around palm. Will use them for climbing, skiing, biking, and chopping wood. Couldn?t be more pleased.

These gloves are incredible? comfortable, durable, warm, and while maintaining amazing dexterity. I have no idea how Hestra managed to have such a thin glove feel so warm. I've taken these out ski touring in single digit temps without every feeling cold. They are also great for getting ready to resort ski on a cold morning. I can't wait to use them as spring gloves later this season.

No seriously, this thing is on another level. Dexterity is insane, durability, fit, warmth, breathability. I wear this day in and day out. As long as my core is warm, I can wear this glove down to about 10°. This is one of the few gloves I can preform rope work with, I never have to take them off because I can literally preform every task with them on. Phenomenal, I cant recommend these enough.

Very high quality gloves! I wear these everyday as an exterior remodeler in MN and my hands have been comfortable down to single digit temperatures without liners.

Nice gloves. Serve exactly the purpose I bought them for. Spring skiing/boarding or chilly days sailing. Great fit but buy one or two sizes smaller than your usual Hestra Glove. I wear a Hestra 11 and these fit better in a 10.
