Solid mitt for East Coast Cold

Familiarity:
I've used it several times
Size Bought:
10 - for roomy fit

After a few cold east coast days (single digits, damp and windy) I'm happy with the performance of these mitts. I wanted the under cuff design and the durability of full leather even though I suspect the Heli mitts might be a touch warmer. I made a point of going up a size so there's plenty of room to ball my hands up on the lift when I'm still trying to get good circulation (long lift rides and early morning). It's also worth noting that the liner has fingers and is removable, so if you want to get a heavier liner or a wool liner you can swap it out. Despite being a little oversized, the dexterity is still good enough and the leather is nice and soft on your nose for wiping boogies. They're also easy enough to get on and off when you need to stuff M&Ms into your child's mouth keep them ripping.

Warm. Easy to find because it's tan (not black). Hestra never disappoints.

Note on sizing

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Size Bought:
10
Weight:
132

I was in between an 9 and a 10 but have slightly long fingers. 10 worked well if I didn't wear an additional fabric liner glove. Not overly big on my hand. With the extra liner (burton polartec) the 10s were too tight. Going to try an 11. Also my wrists are a little thin. I wish the velcro ran a little longer so I could tighten the wrist more. Not a big deal though. May have to add some more velcro on the wrists to the 11s.

Comfortable warm mittens

I needed a new pair of mittens or gloves. I researched and decided to buy the Fall Line mittens based on reviews and the sale price. I’ve only used a few days so far. First they are soft and fit well immediately. They are not like Kinco gloves which are stiff. Second they were pretty warm for the 30 degree days. I've decided I do prefer mittens for warmth and can’t wait to use this winter.
