Perfect mitt for cold hands

I find it hard to purchase mittens online, especially a company I haven't worn before. Temp sensitivity is somewhat subjective. My fingers are always cold starting in early Fall and my older gloves weren't keeping me warm. I got the Hestra Moon Mittens hoping the extra insulation would suffice during daily dog walks. They are super warm and perfect for that purpose. They are thick so not the most dextrous for handling buckles and zippers, but the trade off is the warmth. The length from my wrist to top of middle finger is 7.75" and I ordered a size 9. I haven't purchased this company before so I don't know if that is on par with their other sizing. The 9 Moon Mitten gives me a small buffer of space/air between the end of my hands and the inside seam, which for me is spot on. I love my new mittens.

Very warm - used in Canada!

The mittens were perfect for skiing Canada (0C temps). Only wish would be for Hestra to include the elastic wrist leashes, like they have on other gloves. I was nervous I was going to drop a mitten off the chair list.

Hestra is one of my favorite brands, and these did not disappoint. These are keeping my hands warm in the cold MN climate. These run big in my opinion - I normally wear a size 7 in Hestra, but needed to size down to a 6.
