A Downgrade from the Mach 5
I purchased my first pair of HOKA's in 2022 - a Mach 5. I absolutely LOVED this shoe. It fit like a glove, felt like a cloud, and was so comfortable for running and walking. Over the course of 1-2 years, I walked and ran hundreds, if not thousands of miles in my Mach 5's. Unfortunately, the time had come for a new pair, but Mach 5's were being phased out. I figured a Mach 6 would not be terribly different. Well, I was wrong. While the shoe has a nice aesthetic look, I noticed that A) the shoe felt a lot tighter on my foot than the Mach 5 and B) after a couple weeks the toe tip started to feel very hard/rigid. I reached out to HOKA Customer Support and filed a warranty claim, requesting a replacement pair thinking it was a one-off issue. Upon receiving the new pair and wearing them a couple of weeks, I realized the issue prevailed, and it was clear that the issue was this shoe model. To go from having a shoe I absolutely loved to a newer model of the same shoe and being severely let down was not the best experience. I ended up filing another warranty claim and was issued a refund. There might be another HOKA model out there I will like as much as the Mach 5's, but the Mach 6's was not it.

Great running shoes
Although I am a long time runner, this is my first Hoka and it is well worth the money. Great bounce and cushion. I have worn it for ~100 miles so far and it is going great. Feels a bit squishy in the first couple of runs because of all the cushion until you get used to the feeling. A note on sizing - I usually wear Brooks Ghost size 11D (0.5 bigger than my regular size). The recommended size was 10.5 on the site while purchasing. Turns out that size was small, I could feel the toes sticking out during a 6 miler. I exchanged them for 11, and they are perfect. Done a couple of 20 milers in them without problem. I intend the wear them during a marathon in a few weeks.

Early days, but I really like these
I've only run about 20km in these so far but they feel great and I'm enjoying them. I bought these and a pair of Skyflows at the same time. The Skyflows felt a little narrow at first (they've loosened up a bit so it's not an issue). The Mach 6's did not. They've felt good right from the start. Fits true to size and there's a reasonable amount of room in the toe-box. I'm looking forward to using these.

Black / Charcoal Grey
I would call these shoes black / grey vs. black on black.. I purchased for refereeing basketball and was disappointed that it wasn't truly black/black. While the photos on the site did have some color variance the shoes were much more drastic in the color difference.

DO NOT BUY THIS SHOE
I bought a pair about 3 months ago at a running shoe store because they felt good on the treadmill and were at a good price. Upon first putting them on they initially felt better than any other shoe I'd tried. After a week of running about 4 miles a day, I started to have issues. The front is designed horribly and uses terrible materials. As a result, I've taken my socks off to find my toes bloody because of how bad they are. They might seem to have good energy return, but after some use you notice how little support they really give.

Good quality shoes
I had to return my first ones to get a half size up and wider. My on cloud shoes are good and these are very competitive with them. I'll eventually get another HOKA pair.

Runs Flat By 100 Miles.
I love the feel of the Mach 6 when first worn out of the box with one big exception...It is a bit narrow in a size D and is a bit more narrow than the Mach 5. That being said, it is a very bouncy, energetic shoe for about 100 miles. After that, the rocker becomes less pronounced, and the bouncy feeling in the mid-sole declines. Could be Hoka's best shoe if they can correct the "narrow fit" and add some life to the shoe.

Best running shoes I've ever owned
Super light and responsive. Provides ample support, also. Color schemes are ALL rad!!

Second pair of Mach 6
My first pair of Mach 6 (and legacy Mach 5) were amazing. I run nearly every day from 2 milers to 50Ks and have loved the Mach 6. I gave this a 3 because I know the shoe is great but my recent purchase was a bad shoe. The tongue is broken (it's ripped) and I've only put 10 miles on the shoe so I'm disappointed.

Big change from Mach 5...
If you have been running for the last few years in Mach 5's, be aware that the Mach 6 is a very different shoe. It is significantly "bouncier" and the rocking feature has been exaggerated further over that of the Mach 5. They are are still great shoes, but I definitely recommend running in them before making your purchase (I just did a quick slip on for sizing). I am sure I would have tried some of the other neutral road running shoes before buying these,
