Why We Like The Mach 6 Running Shoe
More responsive than ever before, the Mach 6 Running Shoe springs us into faster transitions. This iteration is the first in HOKA's lineup that features a full-length SCF-compound midsole, meaning this pair can really lay down the gas, driving us into new personal bests. The new rubber tread protects the springy foam from the road and boosts our traction when last night's rain has the asphalt feeling slick, ensuring solid grip for powerful toe offs.

Absolutely love!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:

Went with my normal size of sneakers and I absolute love! They are incredibly comfy! They have a larger toe bed in my own opinion so def roomy so not my fave shoes to run in but to beep bop around town they are perfect! The egg color is beautiful!

Good but narrow
I've tried different brands of sneakers and I have to say that HOKA is one of my favorites. It provides better support and cushion when I run. I've always had an issue with my knees and ankles. This is my first time running in Mach 6. It is comfortable and my knee issues have lessened. The problem I have with this version is the narrowness. My normal size is 7.5D. I try not to purchase beyond 7.5 only because I find the top of the shoe tends to flip upward if it is too long, making it look like genie shoes. 7.5D was too narrow so I hesitantly tried 8D. It actually is not that much longer and the widest part of my foot aligns with the widest part of the shoe and so far, no issues with my feet hurting/blistering after a run. Didn't like the Clifton 9 due to the extreme duckbill. Bondi felt like too much cushion. The color options for the Mach 6 wide version is limited.

So sad they changed the Mach!!
This is my 3rd Mach (had the 4 and 5) and loved them so much and was excited to get my new pair BUT I am disappointed in the Mach 6. They are totally different than the previous ones. Not sure I'll keep them as I just got them today and took a short walk to try them out. I'll see how they do on my long walk. Ughh, finally found a pair of shoes that fit great and now looks like I'll have to go back shopping around!

Not as expected!
My husband and daughter have a few pairs of Hoka sneakers so I had high expectations. The sneakers did not live up to it.

What the Clunk?!
I've had chronic pain from bone spurs and plantar fasciitis since February of this year. I'm an avid runner, have been running since my early teens and now it's caught up to me. I have been a fan of minimalist running shoes for most of this time, and my podiatrist said that my shoes were the issue. I didn't want to listen and he even made me some stupid inserts which were annoying to wear. But, finally during my last visit I asked him what brands he would recommend and he recommended this one. I raised my brows because I've always been against clunky running shoes, but figured I had nothing to lose and thought it would be better than the inserts. So, I ordered my first pair, the Mach 6, the lightest Hoka, and after wearing them my feet have been hurting less and less! I have been on two runs this past week as I'm taking it slow for now, and my left heel is still a little achy but it's so much better than the constant pain I had been living with. I'm so happy that I'm able to run again without pain. I'm ordering my second pair today, the Bondi 8. Turns out my feet do like clunky running shoes.

Comfortable and feel great on my first run out of the box
They are so comfortable right out of the box and feel so responsive. Just what ii was looking for. I'm only giving 4 stars because I feel they aren't as supportive as I expected. Sorry I might need another pair sooner because I may wear them out. But I will be buying another pair when needed!

So Sad
I am so sad that HOKA re-made the MACH's. My MACH 5's are my favorites but this new one is just awful. I previously ordered my regular size 7 and they were so narrow and short that I returned them disgusted. I thought I would try the 7 WIDE thinking they would be roomier b/c I just love the MACH 5's but they were just as snug and short as the regular 7. I used to recommend HOKA's to everyone and now I just cannot.

Super cute but runs narrow
I'm a total newbie at running(6ish months) and originally tried out a different popular running shoe and immediately returned them and ordered these Hokas. I love the color, cushion and how stable my feet feel in them while running. However, I have narrow feet and these are very narrow. I am out of my return window thinking maybe it was just because they needed to be broken in but that's not the case. Either way I love them but if you've got narrow feet maybe think about going wide or try the narrow and don't miss your window like I did.
