Why We Like The HOKA Solimar Running Shoe
HOKA equipped the Solimar Running Shoe with everything we need to float over the pavement while we log our daily miles, and cut back on everything else. The typically maximalist brand designed the Solimar with a balanced midsole and low stack height for a more approachable running shoe that offers easy comfort on our everyday workouts. The breathable mesh uppers comfortably hug our feet, with extra support around our Achilles to minimize strain through our calves. The extended crash pad and plush EVA cushioning soften the pavement beneath our feet and the 6mm drop helps us maintain proper form throughout our runs.

Great shoe
Great light shoe. Size 14. One minor critique are my toes seem to hit the top of the shoe and for a split second get caught in the material at the top of the shoe.

Solimar- So far so good
These Solimar shoes are replacements to Hoka Arahi 7's I had purchased which came apart in less than six months. The Solimar style to me, is a lot more comfortable than Arahis straight out of the box. The Arahis had to be broken in.

Absolutely love this style of shoe! I have had the Clifton's before and wanted to branch out and see what other styles work best for me and this style is phenomenal!

I would buy this shoe again for casual ware.
Use the shoe for short distance walking. Good looking shoe but not supportive for distance walking. Will purchase same look walking/running shoe.

this is my 6th pair - not because of quality, rather i appreciate variety. all 6 pairs are still going strong and my feet appreciate you. podiatrist doesn't want to see me for a year. i must say, my oldest pair of Cliftons are showing above average wear inside the heel. soles and all other parts are holding up nicely

extremely comfortable shoes--glad to have them
Most of my body is arthritic, especially my feet, and I cannot do much standing or walking. I recently noticed both a doctor and a nurse wearing HOKAs and I asked them why. I was told how comfortable they are for folks who have to spend a good part of their day on their feet. So I bit the bullet and paid a fair amount of money for a pair of HOKAs. I've only worn them a couple of days, but they live up to their rep for comfort. Glad to have them.

I wont buy this again
Looks like this dosent have good ankle support. My right ankle pains everytime i walk. This was promoted as a walking shoe. Really disappointed. Bondi was great and will probably go back to it.
