Maybe
Avid hiker and a big fan of Hokas...I purchased a pair of "Transport GTX" (low cut) maybe (2) years ago and really like them. My only concern was they didn't make a version in "WIDE" so I reached out to HOKA and they suggested that I should bump up my normal size of 11.0W to a 11.5D. I did and the shoe fit great, comfortable & light plus when clean looked great. So when HOKA came out with the "Transport Chukka GTX" (high cut) version I was all over them. My thought was since I have the Transport GTX 11.5D I'll order the same size. Didn't fit way to big & wide and by far the cheapest insoles of any HOKAS I have. I do like the style etc. so exchanging them for my normal size of 11.0 hopefully they fit. Great looking shoe....insoles totally suck.

Better than chuka boots
I was going to buy chuka boots for casual wear, but when I saw these Hokas, they looked like Chaka boots, but they were also sneakers, so I sort of got my chuka boots and another pair of Hokas. Best of both worlds

Not made like this.
How can such a quality product have soles that look like this. Every part of the black sole including the toe guard has what I can best describe as a white overspray. It does not rub off. I am not talking about a few spots, they are completely covered.

I probably would not buy this particular shoe again.
I use it for my daily wear. It does not have the amount of support that previous Hokas have.

My least favorite Hokas...
I just ordered these, tried them on, and sent them back. They didn't have the usual Hoka sole, and didn't feel quite right on my feet, unfortunately - none of that cushy propulsive feel that I love about my other 8 pair of Hokas. They looked fine, if not exceptional.

Love the design but not insoles
Shoe is great but need to get different insoles for the shoe. Feel like a cheap insert for such an expensive shoe.

I recommend this new model
I love this new ankle high shoe. I selected it for the materials and wet winter conditions. I'm enjoying the elastic no-tie laces but appreciate that conventional laces are included for those that may not. I'm a 75 YO senior that benefits from the support these shoes provide for the fifteen miles per week I walk and find these so comfy.

Stain on toe
Love these! But actually have not worn them yet. Seems to be a stain on the toe I can not get off.

I would but these again
Very comfortable. Only problem had to buy insoles for shoes 6 days after wearing. I'm a FedEx delivery driver and am constantly walking for 4 to 6 hours. Overall very satisfied with shoes.

Nice for on the town but not for the trail
Soles are soft and are easily punctured. Not for extreme use. Great for casual use.
