Great walking shoe
Waterproof, comfortable, sturdy. Absolute favorite shoes.

Too Tight across the top of the air
The strap across the top of the shoe tongue is too tight, even with the laces completely loosened. I returned the shoes.

Initially great, but its squeakiness drives me insane
Initially, this shoe was perfect for the multiple uses I had intended to wear it: Walking around campus, a little light trail walking, running errands, etc. The GTX material means it's not very breathable during the summer months, but it's moderate plushiness makes up for it in terms of comfort. To me, it was a versatile, all-around, great sneaker. However, one of the shoes randomly developed a very loud "squeak" about 4 months after purchase. I believe an air pocket developed in the sole, but I cannot be certain and despite my research, I cannot make it stop. Unfortunately, the squeakiness has made the shoe nearly unwearable as I have to walk in an uncomfortable way to make it stop. As I stated, I initially loved these shoes. They were everything I had wanted and expected. But the squeak drives me, and the people around me, so insane I honestly don't know if I'd ever invest in Hokas again.

Broke in about 2 months
Loved these at first, but the strap on my shoe broke in two months. Squeeky noise won't go away. Probably the worst hokas I've owned! Save your money for some different hokas.

The Quick Tie Broke first work out
I purchased these shoes and was excited. I put them on and went on the 12.5-mile walk I do daily. When I went to take my shoes off, the quick draw shoelace system that came with the shoe comletely broke. I had to swap them out for the laces completely. I knew eventually I would probably need to replace the quick-release laces that came with the shoes, I just thought for the price, they would last longer than 1 walk or 3 hours. Love the color and styling. Find them a bit snug width-wise.

Good design shoes
I thought this shoe was very suitable for traveling. I usually wear size 8.5. After receiving the shoe, I felt it was a little small, so I changed to size 9. It is very comfortable to wear, but it is a little narrow in the front, which is not a problem.

Not what I expected
Everyone said that HOKA's were super comfortable, unfortunately that's not my experience. I bought premium shoes hoping they would feel great, however, they give me pain in my arches, too narrow, ( yet I do not have wide feet ) and feel odd under the toes. I was hoping to use them for walking / all around...but I'll need to replace them.

Needs some more design work on the tow box!
I ordered the Transport GTX with hope that I could wear it on an upcoming vacation where rain is anticipated. I like the look and feel, but the right foot towbox cover tents down when walking and makes a very annoying snapping noise. I returned the first pair and received a replacement and low and behold, it has the same problem. I have worn HOKA shoes for years and know the size and fit well. I returned the Transport GTX again and will order another shoe model Challenger without Goretex even though it comes in GTX.

Great product, bad example
I've had a pair of transport GTX for over a year. My go to shoe for walking, sometimes hiking. So, I know it's a good product. My newly purchased pair left me puzzled. The left shoe sounded like a flip flop with. every. step! My return was easy, pretty sure the exchanged pair will be fine.

Hoka GTX Transport is narower than the Hoka Transport
I recently purchased a pair of Hoka Transports. I liked them so much that I bought another pair and upgraded to GTX. What a dissapointment. The GTX hurt my feet. I alternate wearing my Transport and my GTX. The Transorts are comfortable. The GTX hurt. I will be testing Hoka's return policy. I can't wear these shoes.
