Does not keep food hot
I bought one for myself and each of my nieces and nephews - thank goodness I tried mine out before giving them as gifts. I warmed the jar with boiling water for 5 minutes before putting my piping hot food into the container in the morning, and less than four hours, at lunch time, the food was luke warm at best. The fact that the container itself, and the lid, were warm was a really bad indicator. Clearly all the heat escaped. I have to return the ones I bought as gifts and rush to find something else. I do NOT recommend this product and I am confused by all of the good reviews.

Doesn’t keep food hot.
I bought this in the spring for when I have lunch in my car about 4-5 hours in the work day. Every time I pre heat it & close tightly and every single time I’ve used this my food is lukewarm. I’ve done chili a few times and chowder all with the prep & some times have been 40° other times 60-70°. I don’t know if mine was a dud but it’s disappointing.

Daily use for overnight oats

Kept my foods warm AND cold!!
I love my insulated food jar, honestly enough to probably buy more. I love packing all my food in these (despite them being a tad bulky). Would love to see an adult type of bento box that can keep food super warm/cold!

Kinda disappointed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the size of this jar and the color but I was disappointed it didn’t keep my food hot like I thought it would…..keeps it lukewarm at best. I even tried preheating it with hot water to see if it helped. I feel the coffee travel mugs keep drinks hotter for longer. Not sure if the technology is different or these are meant more for cold food items

Keeps food warm
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Threw away our other food jars that wasn’t keeping our school lunches warm. Be careful though- lids get easily stained when washing with other dirty dishes and is hard to come off.
