Great kit but the valve was faulty

Everything seemed great till I went to fill the tank, after multiple attempts at multiple locations I took it to a propane supplier and had to have the valve replaced at an extra cost.

Can’t be filled. Faulty valve assembly.
I went to two places and neither could fill it. The man at the first place said, “before I even try this, I’ll tell You that most of these don’t work.”

Tried and failed twice to fill these

Bought two of these because they fit perfectly in the bed of my truck with the tonneau cover closed. Went to two different filling stations and neither could successfully fill either tank. Too much hassle so these are going back.

Size is the Goldilocks of propane tanks

This tank really is just the right size to take around with you; big enough to not have to worry about running out of propane, but small enough to easily lug it around to the campsite. And the carrying case makes it easy to carry. Just a well thought out product.

Ignik Deluxe Gas Growler

This is a dream come true! The tank is very manageable and holds the equivalent if 5 green propane bottles. It only cost me $4.52 cents to fill it! Less than the cost of one green propane bottle that cost me $5.99 I love the carry case with the webbing so you can secure it in place. Best is you can refill the tank unlike the green propane bottles that aren’t refillable. Our local town recycle center charges a $2.00 disposal fee for the green propane bottles. The hose attachment fit perfectly on my jet boil base camp stove. If you add the green bottle disposal fee to the price of one green bottle that’s $7.99. Even though the initial cost of the gas growler is pricey, it will pay for itself in no time. I actually prefer these over the 20 pound tanks which are so cumbersome and heavy. I bought a second Ignik deluxe gas growler because I was so impressed. This tank is too heavy for backpackers but if your going to campgrounds, it’s perfect.
