DWR, or Durable Water Repellent, is a treatment applied to fabrics that makes them water-resistant. This means that when it rains or you encounter wet conditions, water will bead up and roll off the surface instead of soaking in. This feature is essential for outdoor gear, as it helps keep you dry and comfortable during your adventures.

2.5-layer fabric consists of a waterproof membrane sandwiched between a protective outer layer and a lightweight inner layer. The "0.5" layer is often a printed layer that enhances durability and breathability. This construction allows the jacket to remain lightweight while providing excellent waterproofing and breathability, making it ideal for active outdoor use.

Hydrophobic refers to materials that repel water. In the context of our paddling jacket, this means the fabric is designed to resist water absorption, allowing it to dry quickly.
