Seam started coming apart in first crash
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
The pads fit true to size for me. They are a bit tighter than the medium 7idp Sam Hill pads but that made me hope they will fit for a longer period of time before stretching out. The pads are comfortable and I rode three times in them for a total of nine thousand vert of climbing with only very minor discomfort on the back of the knee. The first fall was a slow fall and I fell straight to my right knee with little to no sliding and the seam above the knee cap separated a little. The second fall I had I fell on the right knee again at moderate speed and slid six or seven feet on my side. I was on my elbow and knee and didn’t tear the long sleeve jersey I was wearing but completely opened up the knee pad. Gave them three stars because the pad didn’t slide down my leg and they are comfortable but I wouldn’t recommend them because of the poor durability. Also wish one of these companies would put something smooth and soft behind the vented gel so when you do fall you don’t end up with abrasions from the holes in the gel.

Runs 1 size small
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
Bought the size recommended by the size chart, measured my legs and everything. Way too tight. Could barely get on, extremely uncomfortable. Seemed sick though. Would like to try again with next size up.
