Why We Like The Jackson Kayak Take Two Kayak
The latest in Jackson Kayak's line of tandem fishing and recreational kayaks, the Take Two is the evolution of the Big Tuna. The large open deck and 13-foot, 9-inch length can accommodate one or two companions—human or canine—thanks to the Take Two's removable and adjustable seating. The seats can be set at several different positions to accommodate either solo or tandem paddling, and they also adjust easily into high or low positions for more comfortable sitting, paddling, or fishing. On top of that versatility, we like how we can accessorize our boat in many ways with Jackson Kayak's TriTrak channels, which allow us to mount accessories on all three sides of the track and hide the cables of our electronics. This sit-on-top features plenty of bow and stern storage, mounting bolts for a power pole or Torqeedo, easy mounting of our fish finder and transducer, and a wide, stable base for either sit-down or stand-up fishing.

First off Tylar is an amazing personal gearhead. I purchased the Jackson take two and when it arrived the seats were broken. I contacted her and she made it right. Couldn’t speak more highly of her and the staff at backcountry. This kayak takes some getting use to if you’ve been on smaller ones. Once I figured it out I had a blast on my float. My fat boy 35 qt cooler fit perfectly in the rear tank well. There is enough room in this kayak to haul all the drinks and stuff you could imagine.
