I deal for hot loose leaf tea and ground coffee. No need to carry another French press or Aero press when you’re looking to cut weight. The only complaint I have is that it’s not all able to be stored in the cup unless you take out the fuel can.

Only used 10 times so don't know how the silicone ring might hold up long term, Product looks well made and functions as expected, I recommend this product.

New Design Works Great

I bought to go along with my Sumo, and have used it twice now for a few pots of coffee each time - works great, and cleans up easy. I have never used the first generation coffee press, but this redesigned unit appears to be an improvement leaps and bounds beyond the original. Leaves just the slightest bit of the finest residue in the bottom of the last cup poured. Looking forward to years of use!
