Why We Like The MicroMo Stove
Weighing just twelve ounces and packing all the quick-boiling strength of a Jetboil, the MicroMo Personal Cooking System is what we turn to when we need an ultralight backpacking stove that boils water in just over two minutes. The MicroMo has the same wind-blocking shroud that can be found on stoves nearly twice its weight, and we love that it offers reliable cold-weather performance with the ability to run consistently in temperatures down to 20F.

Incredibly capable and tried and true
When you think of camping, backpacking, or survival, you should be thinking of water and food. I have multiple of the JetBoils in my various kit bags. Backpacking for 1, for 2, my get home bag. This unit (and all of the various units they make) accomplish so much in a self-contained package. For the features, it is relatively light (it will never win the “ultralight” challenge of a simple pocket rocket, etc) but it is your water boiler, it is your eating vessel, it contains and protects the heating element, you can pack your fuel in there. If you want an easy to use, well know and tried and trued package - the JetBoil line accomplishes a lot!

After 1 season
I used this camping in the high country of Northern CA, or the snowy mountains of CO, as well as driving around scouting and glassing. I was not very easy on it. It would live in my pack or in my truck, getting tossed around and having things fall on it or just bouncing around while driving down not well maintained dirt road. It still works like the day I pulled it out of the box. Striker still works great. Lid stays on. I have not found a reason for the orange stand that comes with it. I have been using the fuel can as the stand.

reliable and versatile. The adjustable regulator makes it a perfect compact camp stove that you can use pretty much any pan or pot on it.

great stove
I've used this stove for two years now and I'm extremely happy with it. I to had issues with the lid not fitting correctly. I bought a lid for the zip and it fits perfectly no more fit issues great stove

Great little burner!
I have been so impressed with how quickly this boils water (which is what I bought it for). I can boil enough to hydrate a meal and have a cup of coffee ready before the food is. Best part is that it fits so well in my daypack and hunting pack that I don't mind carrying it. A hot meal or drink is great as it gets colder in the woods.

Great, but igniter doesn’t work outside
It’s a good little stove and boils water quickly and is easily adjustable to simmer which is the biggest difference between it and more simple jetboil products. Small click ignited worked in my garage but could not get it to work while on a recent three day backcountry trip even when completely sheltered from wind. I always have a couple lighters so it isn’t a big deal, but I could see it being very frustrating if you didn’t have one.

Good Enough
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I've been looking at these for some time and pulled the trigger on the MicroMo. I was a little apprehensive about the size, it turned out to work perfectly for my needs. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is that the lid will not stay on, not a deal breaker, but still a minor issue

Works as marketed
Water boils in a minute, I used it for a two night camping trip, it was used for coffee and water for oatmeal. I made the mistake of overfilling it, don’t make the same mistake. Easy to set up and use in general.

Did everything it should, super fuel efficent
I'd used a friend's non-regulated Jetboil on some other trips, so thought I'd give this a go for a 5 day canoe trip in the BWCA. For morning drinks and freeze dried meals boil time was under 2 minutes which is what I expected out of it. Where it really shined was when it was time to fry some walleye fillets and hasbrowns. The regulator and fry pan stand worked great together. Temp control was perfect and the non-Jetboil fry pan I'd brought with was plenty stable. My only regret is having waited so long to upgrade!
