Why We Like The Jetboil MiniMo Stove

One of our favorite backpacking stoves is now available in a smaller size for easier packing and more efficient cooking. perfect for thru hikes. easy to use and compact. used in the morning to make tea and in the evening for dehydrated meals. make sure to clean immediately after use or some meals would leave a flim in cup. all levels of experience can use this. it's a must have for all camping/hiking adventures. plan to purchase another for my wife to cut down on time when cooking 2 meals. you won't regret this purchase.

Minimo

Because Jet boil is a great product. It hasn’t failed me yet regardless of the temps. I have used it on multiple trips so far.

The plastic melted on first use

The plastic at the base of this stove melted on first use. I'm really disappointed with my purchase. I feel like a backpacking stove should be designed so that it doesn't destroy itself when used in light wind. Flame and plastic don't mix well, who would have known??

used on 5 or 6 trips: great buy!

This has been great: I love that I can adjust the burner so that I can also slow-cook things inside of the pot without it burning. It was a little tricky in cold temperatures, but that has more to do with the fuel than anything else. I've learned to keep the fuel in my coat while I am setting up camp to warm it up.

Been good, wish I went with the smaller one as I have used it mostly just to boil water but will be nice if I want to cook with.

Nothing beats a Jetboil

This stove lit reliably despite the weather unlike my Old stove. I only had to angle it in font off me and block the wind once on a particularly windy day where my old one would have never lit at all. It did take a little longer to boil water on this day, but only by a minute or so. I don’t use the button to ignite and typically use a lighter. Just preference. It was really easy to cook almost anything including using the Summit Skillet which allowed me to cook things other than dehydrated meals. I loved controlling the temperature more!

Worked flawlessly, and as advertised. Boils water in a matter of minutes, and made great coffee with the French press. Highly recommend for outdoor activities.

Fast and versatile

Not as limited as the standard jet boil and will boil just as fast.
