Why We Like The Stash Stove
The notion that we might have to sacrifice coffee on the trail in the name of saving pack space is just one that we cannot entertain. Luckily, Jetboil felt similarly and created the lightweight, compact Stash Stove to maximize space without sacrificing the iconic performance Jetboil is known for. In fact, this stand-alone stove is the lightest Jetboil system ever made, tipping the scale at just over seven ounces. That's like the equivalent of a pair of socks. The titanium burner and 0.8-liter FluxRing cook pot ensure a rapid 2.5-minute boil time for everything from a hot cup of Joe right when we wake up to a quick dehydrated dinner after a long day on the trail.

Poor design, do not buy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently purchased the Stash after having and loving the Flash system for 15 years. The lid on the Stash is poorly designed and does not stay in place, even with holding the lid in place while pouring liquid, water comes out from other areas of the lid other than the spout. This is a major design flaw and unless Jetboil comes out with a redesigned lid, I would not recommend this system. I emailed Jetboil about this and waiting to see what their response is.

It’s a great stove for a couple people but I wish it was self lighting. I used it camping and it was in the low 30’s and it went out a couple times.

#NoRagrats
I bought two of these stash. Cook sets one for myself and one for my sister. My sister had experienced a really bad storm in DFW without power so I sent her one of these so she could make lentils and rice. It came in clutch! The second use case I have for it is… I feed my dog, the honest kitchen brand food, which is basically freeze dried human grade, but in powder form. You basically mix it up with hot water and make a nice thick porridge. I keep one in my truck so that I could quickly heat up or barely warm up the water to make a hot meal for my coco pup basically anywhere we are! Plug: i also own the 3 other JetBoils. The Genesis full system, micro mo and mini mo. Took the mini mo to Banff and made the Food-for-sole brand meals. It was amazing to have it take care of 6 people using it taking turns. We had our food and a gallon of water. Spent the entire day at lake lousie and kept everyone nourished. They all have a place in our camp setup.

Compact
I needed a little stove to take camping. Ended up buying the new yeti cargo tots and this fits perfectly in drop in basket. Can even put a gas canister in it for storage. Everything worked out great.

3-Season efficiency for one person
Very pleased with this stove for 3-season use backpacking: fast boil, fuel efficient, compact, durable. I boil in the morning for coffee and evening for dinner (and sometimes tea). No issues getting 7 days from a 110g canister (helps to use a windbreak and to warm up the canister in my quilt in the morning). Probably not a beginner’s stove, but easy to set up and break down.

I enjoy making coffee with my aeropress. With the jetboil stash im able to take my aeropress with me and make an amazing cup of coffee in only a few minutes wherever I choose whether that be at a campsite or the top of a mountain. In addition to the ability to make my coffee when I go hiking, the stash also allows me to boil water for freeze dried meals when I’m on particularly longer hikes. It condenses into a small footprint which allows for compact storage in a rucksack as well as organization as all its contents are contained in the vessel itself.
