Why We Like The Jones Mercury Snowboard Binding
Truly a jack of all trades, the Jones Snowboards 2025 Mercury Snowboard Binding is an all-mountain option that gravitates towards freeriding and pow slashing while still holding its own when we take it through the park. SkateTech technology blesses the Mercury with fluid energy transfer and instant response, while the refined Control Flex highback further complements those attributes. Especially easy to appreciate, the Flip-It ankle strap technology allows strap to be worn higher on the boot in "Freeride Mode" for additional support on techy terrain or flipped upside down in "Surf Mode" for a more loose, flowy feel.

There's a reason why a lot of the reliable internet snowboarding gear reviewers put the Mercury in their Top 5 lists for all mountain bindings. I literally put this on my hard charger/aggressive board, my powder board, and everything in between. And have absolutely no problems. Good drive into the binding and highback, love the baseplate and the options for change you get. I have the white color, and it looks amazing on both boards. I will say I don't notice a lot of change with the Now Bindings' SkateTech technology. But I don't think its impacting anything either, and you have to believe its probably helping.. especially the 4 bushings per binding. Both straps are really sound (I have Burton Cartels as my "backup bindings" and I rarely main those anymore. I'm constantly taking these off the board I rode last and putting them on my other boards if I'm going out the next day on my other boards, rather than put my Cartels on... which you know is 1 of the world's best selling bindings.) I have a 11.0 boot and I have the size L. In addition the sustainability of how the company makes their stuff, and everything else, I'm impressed and now going to check out some other stuff from the Nidecker brands.
