Didn't Work for Me

Not sure if this is a model issue or a unit issue but I pre charged the unit a few days before my trip from wall outlet so it would be ready to go when I needed it on a week long camping trip. When I went to use it there was no charge available. Plugged it in to a solar generator to charge it and then had very little run time. Charged it again and then after another day the unit had lost almost all of its power. Probably a great unit for plug and use, but when power is limited I need more reserve power.

I used the Kakadu shower on a 4 day overland trip through SW Colorado and was extremely impressed. The terrain was insanely dusty so to be able to clean off each day prior to getting in the tent was a game changer. We also used the Kakadu for cleanup each night. Washing dishes with hot water was mind blowing. The unit heats up in no time at all and maintains a constant temp.
