Great fit & fabric, misplaced pockets

Might be a function of my short legs & the XS size (5’3” 117lbs, mostly of butt-muscle), but the pockets were unusable for me. Nice thick fabric (not fleecy but substantial), great flattering fit on the legs & butt, and in front too, nice high waist, which made me sad to return these. 2 pockets at hip & 2 at sides of knee, all of them are smallish (won’t fit a big iPhone). If filled they would be uncomfortable, especially the knee ones as they are right at the bend in your leg, but the hip pockets also are too far to the front and would interfere with my hip flexing too. Definitely get these if you only need to put keys & credit card in the pockets, they are really nice! The blue color was really appealing too, very deep without quite being navy. I feel like I should give them 4 stars but the pockets upset me too much.
