Why We Like The Kask Protone Icon Helmet
Kask turned the dial up with their Protone Icon Helmet. Enhancing upon its base version, the Icon features an even sleeker shape to maximize ventilation and aerodynamics so we may move at greater speeds with greater comfort. And while comfort is of high importance, protection is even more so. We can trust the rotational tests of Kask for that.

Very comfortable
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
This is a very comfortable and good looking helmet. I went from another brand that would slip around. This stays in the same position and doesn’t create any pressure points. Worth the money.

Second Time Around
- Familiarity:

This is my second Protone Icon. The first lasted me for seven years until I realized I was probably pushing my luck with an older helmet. I think they have even improved the ventilation but the fit and comfort is the same as my last model. Helmets are an individual preference but this works very well for my needs in a hot climate.

Great Helmet
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Finally made the leap to a Kask helmet, and I'm so glad that I did. This helmet fits my head perfectly and is secure without being tight or having pressure points. It has great adjustability, the straps lay nicely around the ears, and the leatherette chin strap with offset clip is comfortable. Nice ventilation on hot summer rides and now using on winter rides with a thin cap without issue. Great looking helmet, I would highly recommend.

Excellent fit, highly adjustable

POC helmets don't fit my head, Sweet Protection helmets don't vent as much as I'd like... Which led me to Kask. Wide adjustability range -- both circumference and vertical alignment at the nape of the neck. Soft, supple faux leather neck strap lining is a nice detail.

Great helmet but…
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
Helmet fits great. I have 2 Protones. Your use of the government (USPS) to ship products meant I did not get the helmet for a critical race so I returned it.

Straps are way to big

I wear a small helmet. I use a mask, just not this model. I wanted to upgrade. The helmet fit fine on my head but the straps were HUGE on my face. Almost came to the side of my mouth. It appears you are using a one size fits all for your straps?? I had to send it back. Again, this is not an issue on the task I bought 2 years ago and currently use.

Amazing Helmet

I’ve put off dropping the change for a Protone helmet for a while. I was hesitant about the sizing, but ordered a Medium based upon the sizing charts. I am so glad that it did - it fit perfectly. It’s got a great fit and doesn’t look like a mushroom. It is comfortable and has great ventilation. I like it so much that I’m already considering adding another to my collection .

Fits well but …

- M

My noggin definitely feels safe in the Protone, but it does run a little smaller than before. My biggest beef is that they changed the padding on the inside to some kind of really scratchy material, which make my skin itch and gives me a rash on my forehead. Sigh.
