Easy water
Love gravity bags. Being able to easily get water with little effort is huge in the back county, especially when your setting up camp late. No more hovering over a stream or body of water pumping while you could be doing other tasks. It's incredibly easy to use, especially if there is running water, the bag pretty much fills itself. Close the bag, attach the hose, hang it and your done. Very light weight, very easy to use and holds a large amount of water. I won't be going on a single trip without it.

Great item
Great item to have especially with a close by water source. It's easy to transport the water bag while it's filled. You can carry by hand or attach to your frame/pack. Packs down very small. Fills a Nalgene or pack bladder very quickly. Easiest to use if you can hang it up somewhere high but you can also always cut the tubing to be a bit more short

This filter is incredibly light and fast. Couldn’t ask for a better piece of gear for a group of 4+ people.

it works. easy to fill and operate. a little slow, but a little forced downtime while I wait for water isn't so bad.

The Katadyn BeFree 10L has been used many times on my adventures. It has worked well and without problems. It's heavy construction gives peace of mind while on the trail or off making your own.

Katadyn is always my go to for water treatment in the backcountry.
I've been using Katadyn products for over 25 years in the backcountry for water treatment. From gravity filter systems to pump systems, I've never gotten sick, had major malfunctions, or been disappointed with the performance of the products. We have over 40 Katadyn products in our inventory being used constantly in the high country of Colorado by a variety of users (new and experienced) and, so far, zero issues. Highly recommend Katadyn to anyone needing to treat water.

Great filter for Base Camp
I have had multiple BeFree filters and I loved them over the Sawyers I used to use. This is the perfect large format version. Plenty of water for a multi person camp to cook/drink etc and not have to refill and/or travel to filter more water. Easy to use, high volume flow, and includes everything to hang from a tree for easy access, which also makes it EVEN EASIER given the gravity feed at that point. Amazing filter for anyone with a group, who's gonna need access to a fair amount of clean water.

great system
This product is very easy to use. I've taken it on several backcountry trips and it's been a game changer. Refilling my crews water very fast and packing down very small. The only downside is finding a place to hang the bag, which really hasn't been an issue. Anyone can use it, just remember to keep the nozzle out of the dirty water when you dunk it.

Great for groups
Bought the 10L as the weight was only marginally more than the other sizes and have no regrets. We used it 8 miles in with a group of 11 people at a base camp. It worked great but did slow down in flow rate noticeably after about 10-15 gallons. Swish cleaning didn't improve flow as much as I'd hoped but it still kept going for another 10 gallons until we left and was still plenty usable. I cleaned it with vinegar when I got home and rinsed it with clean water and dried it and hoping to have full flow again on next use.

Amazing Filter Amazing Filter Amazing Luxury for clean water
I brought this on a 5 day rafting trip as our primary filtration system for 15 people. It did not disappoint! I will not miss the days of being hunched over my nalgene on the side of the river, pumping for 10 minutes. This is so easy to use, and passive water filtration. Everyone that came on my rafting trip went home and is buying one... small, lightweight, easy to use, and comes in a nice little bag for easy transport
