Not as durable as typical Keens
I have been buying Keens for my daughter almost exclusively and I typically love the quality and durability of the shoes. This shoe showed signs of wear and the bungee strap loop broke with one month of use. The toe piece is also separating from the fabric.

Kid shoe
Nice and grippy, my kiddo loves these. Only issue is that they are different to put on.

Comfortable and quick to put on
My daughter loves these. At first, they were a little tough to slip on, but that got better. She is used to a more barefoot style shoe, so I was worried these would be too stiff for her. But she seems to love them. Now I just have to hope they are durable enough after reading mixed reviews. We loved the old style chandler cnx when she was younger, so I really hope these hold up. So far, no complaints. I would say they run a little small, so if your child is on the line order up.

Great shoe for active 2 year old

Not a good fit for high instep feet
My little one has a high instep, though not outrageously high. It’s a struggle to put these CNX sneakers on, which effectively makes them not a go to sneaker, so they’re really not worth buying. Otherwise, they seem like a good sneaker, though haven’t worn them enough to see if they have any stamina.

Run small
Sadly I can not recommend these shoes. My 4 year old and I were both very excited for them. However, they were too small even though I had measured correctly and they were very difficult for my son to take on and off. So sadly I had to return them.

Newer Isn’t necessarily better!
I don’t like anything about this redesign. The old ones we bought religiously every six months for years since she was old enough to walk. The new ones have started to rip around the ankle part two weeks after purchase. Please bring back the old design!!!!

Shoddy assembly > near instant degradation
The rubber at the toe began separating the second time my son wore them for casual play. Kids' shoes ought to be better, as should Keens.

Already bought the next size up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love these shoes for my newly turned 3 year old. He can put them on easily himself, and I like that they're wider in the toe box and the sole is flexible and light. I do wish they'd make them closer to zero drop, but for the money, you just can't beat these for kids. We have four kids that are almost exclusively in Keen at this point. They are so high quality, they're great to pass from kid to kid. I love that they dry quickly and are washable. It's amazing that they can wear them for 30 days and still return if they don't like the fit. The rewards program is fantastic. I've already bought the next size up for my 3 year old while the color is on sale and I bought 2 other pairs in a different color for my 10 and 5 year olds that they're loving. Great shoe!

Perfect Summer Shoes!
Wow! These shoes are so versatile and durable. Perfect shoes for all my kids' summer activities - tree climbing, park swinging, rock throwing, dog walking, and more. The Chandler is super sturdy and looks very cool.
