Wanted to love them. . .
Waited and waited for these to go on sale and finally got a pair for about half off. Wanted to love these as they were designed to be exactly what I wanted: a rugged, waterproof, hiking ready shoe I could wear daily. The look and feel of them are good, although for the price point I would have expected leather in some capacity. I have a pair of Versacore Waterproof Shoes I have really been liking but wanted something slightly more rugged. What drew me to the NXIS was the (supposedly) wide Keen signature toe box. Unfortunately the fit around the toe area was way too tight for a Keen product, even the Versacores I have are roomier in the toe box. The lackluster fitment combined with the steep price (when not on sale) has me steering clear of these.

Comfortable dry shoes
I have purchased these shoes for many years and find them to hold up well and keep my feet comfortable and dry.

Great shoes, the insoles that
Great shoes, the insoles that come with them hurt the outside of my foot so I'm getting the k20 insoles to fix the issue

Super comfy

Great Shoes
I purchased these shoes to walk the rural asphalt roads with gravel shoulders. They have held up greatly with 50+ miles on them. Very little break in period, very comfortable, great support, and plenty of toe box room. I have purchased four other pair of Keen shoes, all of them the same size, including the recent ones.

Would be 5 Star, but . . .
These are outstanding, comfortable walking/light hiking shoes! The sole provides outstanding padding, it’s like walking on clouds. The only problem is that after just a month or so, the lining on the shoe came detached inside the heel, so while the shoes were still comfortable, they were no longer waterproof. I let Keen know and they were good enough to issue me a full credit. The same thing happened to the other shoe while I was waiting for them to take action on my first return request. If they ever get the reliability up so the linings don’t tear out of these shoes, they will be the last shoes I ever buy because other than that defect, they are perfect!

Underwhelming
They look really nice, kuddos to the designer. Unfortunately, they have a poor fit. The toe box had less room then other Keen shoes I've owned. The waterproofing on the inside of the shoe has a seam that rubbed on my heel.

I love Keen products but I need to return these because I accidentally ordered a 1/2 size too big!
