Nice boots, but coating flaking off.
Bought these for my 6 and 8 year old. Both liked the boots through the winter. no complaints of cold feet. My only complaint is the coating on the boots flaked off. The quality was a bit under what I would expect from Keene. Unfortunately Keene only has a 30 day guarantee. These boots should be guaranteed for craftsmanship.

Warm and spacious
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the look of these. We love that it doesn't have that sock/boot/inner that would create and extra step for my kids. We love that Keen runs wider, especially around the toes and that it has that toe guard as well. The fabric used for the insoles is my only concern. We only have had a couple days of snow and my kids used these for about a week so far and there is already lint build up from their feet rubbing on the insole fabric. My son is a bit sensory and feels bothered by the bumpy texture that has already formed. I'm sure thicker socks will help!

Good
Easy on/off. I expected a bit more insulation given that they are based in NH. We will see how it goes with the kids' toes!

Don’t waste your money
Absolutely awful. My child has worn these for less than a month and they are peeling, fraying, and have lost their shape.
