Go-To Water Shoe
Buys these annually for more than ten years. The best thing for the rocky beaches of the Greek islands. Equally comfortable for walking and swimming Highly recommend them!

Not structurally sound!
Shoe was a good fit and was breathable, but three of the cloth bungee loops ripped out on one shoe, rendering it loose and unstable, practically unusable

Looking for wider fitting shoes

Comfortable
These were comfortable right out of the box, no break-in needed.

Great Walking Sandal
Great that it has the toe box covered, comfortable for walking longer distances over varying terrain. Dries quickly after getting wet. Will just give some odd tan lines given the hole placement if you care about that.

thin flexy soles
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these after several pairs of Newport H2, thinking it'd be more like a hiker (I've hiked several peaks in Newports, no complaints). Very disappointed, as the soles are thin and flexy and so much less support. Yes, the outer surface is a tad more like a hiking boot, but the sandal versions are way too thin and don't give any support. Would end up with rock bruised feet if you really tried to hike some of the places I've taken the Newport. I'll leave these for around town where I don't really care and go back to the Newports. C'mon Keen, really? Iconic hikers that sandal versions are not even a pale comparison?? You have done me so much better in the decades I've loved you, sad you've disappointed me now.

Poor Design and Poor Quality
The Black Version has very stiff steel like inserts in the lower straps that do not flex making them very uncomfortable. I sent them back and replaced them with the brown version, that this review is essentially about. The sewing will begin to unravel within a few months of daily wear. The top side straps are too short and end up under the tongue section causing discomfort to the top of the foot. Essentially KEEN needs to redesign this sandal, and I received ZERO help with resolving my problem with the company Supervisor.

Easy on/off
Very happy with these. Much easier to get on and off than my old original Keens with a new enclosure design, and they still cinch up fairly tight. I would normally get a 11 in a Newport, got 10.5 in these sandals.

Great shoe
This is the 4th or 5th pair I have purchased..initially from a small shop in mariposa. Easier to purchase online but not the social interaction of the shop owner.

Not durable.
Not built to last. The thin material which holds the laces will snap after a few months.
