The KEEN Targhee IV WP Wide Hiking Boot is built to handle rough, rocky terrain and post-storm hikes for those of us with wider feet. Too heavy
I typically purchase the Voyageur shoe and really like it. This shoe is very heavy and not as comfortable. I tried something new without success

They Fit!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank goodness, I have large bunions and these shoes fit well. I usually have to custom stretch shoes after purchase which might be a problem with the composite upper but these fit well. Only issue is a squeak in the left shoe when I put my weight on it. I hope I don't have t return them because the next pair might not fit as well. These are an improvement over the Targhee III's I wore before because the brass islets went away. Those islets used to wear and start cutting into the laces after a few months. So I am very happy except for the squeak.

Great shoe
This is my 4th pair in a row of KEEN shoes that I've bought. I bought a 14 Wide and didn't feel that I needed a "break-in" period with these, they were great right out of the box. I recommend these to anyone looking for a great shoe that will last.

Call it Xtra wide
The Targhee 4 wide size 13 is a perfect fit for me. The other Keen shoes in 13w were not wide enough. This is my go to everyday shoe for slopping around in Seattle weather, beach, gardening etc. I’ll probably order the taller version too, as I like to rotate wearing different shoes so they last longer.

Love’em!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quite possible the most comfortable pair of shoes I’ve purchased. The only complaint I’d have is the shoe laces are too short and they refuse to stay tied.

Nice Feel
It does take about two weeks to break in, but once broken in it's a nice feel on the foot, it walks very nice. The only issue I have for whatever reason I cannot get the strings tight enough. I'm going to purchase some lock places and I'm gonna see what happens.

Very nice show, but I really needed extra wide
I think the sizes are true. I needed an extra wide and liked this show but it only came in regular wide. Probably should have waited for extra wide.

Comfortable from the first, Solid and Supportive
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just took my first walk in these shoes. Based on that, I’m very impressed. They fit my feet perfectly, feel very comfortable, and supportive. Exactly what I’m looking for in a pair of walking shoes. I tend to break down running shoes very quickly, as I must walk heavily and run into things along the trail. Hiking shoes sometimes are too stiff and hard on my feet. These Targhee IVs seem to strike the perfect balance. One caution; they are heavy - for me it’s worth it to get the support and cushion I need. As I put more miles on these, I’ll update this review if my impressions begin to change.

Very Comfortable
My second pair of Targhee IV wide shoes. Now have both color options. I just hope they don't de-laminate at the soles like the older Targhee models did. I want a shoe that lasts.

Needs work
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The insole for this new polyurethane midsole should have been updated. The shoe needs more cushion. Also, the laces have gotten even shorter. Why?
