KEEN Wanduro Speed Hiking Shoe: lightweight, durable comfort for kids on the go
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"The Little Kids' Wanduro Speed Hiking Shoe from KEEN has been great for family hikes. It’s lightweight and gives solid traction on different surfaces. My favorite part is the easy bungee laces—they make it simple for kids to slip these on and head out quickly!"
For kids who never slow down, the KEEN Little Kids' Wanduro Speed Hiking Shoe delivers the perfect mix of durability, comfort, and protection. Built with a breathable mesh lining and springy foam midsole, these shoes keep little feet cool and cushioned, while the no-tie bungee laces let kids gear up independently. A contoured fit and multi-directional lug pattern provide stability and grip, giving young adventurers the confidence to tackle any trail. Plus, with the KEEN.PROTECT toe bumper, they’re safeguarded against stubs and scrapes along the way.

Do not buy, poorly made.
The upper came apart from the toe guard and rubber decals peeled off after a couple of weeks for all three pairs that I bought for my boys. This is a poorly built style. Probably some of the most poorly built shoes I have ever purchased for my kids and I have 8 of them. I do not recommend this shoe.

Quality issues
After one week of my son wearing it to school, the front of the shoe began to separate from the sole, and areas delaminated. We have had great luck with several other Keen kid's shoes, so this was very disappointing.

Doesn’t hold up
Within a few weeks the bungee shoe tie has come apart and the material appears really worn. Doesn’t hold up to normal wear.

Toe delaminating after 10 days of use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The toe on both shoes has separated from the shoe body. Started during the second week of use. Design flaw? Cheap materials?

comfortable but not so durable sadly
Comfortable shoe unfortunately the orange detailing is peeling off. For the price you pay, it is disappointing.

Crappy Quality
Just like all the other reviews in here - highly disappointed. Bought them at an REI, my son wore them for 5 days, and the shoe was already coming unglued from the sole. I returned them - will never buy this style again.

Very disappointing
Sole/toe started coming unglued from the fabric upper in less than a week, not just a little but multiple, finger sized gaps. Otherwise the shoe was great and warranty replacement was good.

Fell apart after 1 week!
I ordered my son some keens because they are so durable and last forever. I got the Wanduro Speed Hiking Shoe and after one week the t are falling apart. I'm so upset and will be contacting Keen to see about a refund.

Fell apart in one week.
Fell apart in one week of wearing the shoes at school. Sole has pulled away from the fabric at the toe and along the side. Really disappointed in this shoe especially because Keen's have been durable in the past. Definitely don't buy this shoe!
