Why We Like The Kelty Cosmic 20 Sleeping Bag
The Kelty Cosmic 20 Sleeping Bag allows us to get out on early spring camping trips and sneak away to backpack late into the fall. The bag is packed with 550-fill goose down and utilizes innovative trapezoidal baffles to trap heat and keep us warm and cozy all night. The internal stash pocket keeps our headlamp and phone close, and more importantly warm, so we don't lose too much battery on cold nights. The dual slider design easily ventilates so we can stay comfortable while we sleep, and the spacious footbox provides room for our toes to wiggle while we snooze.

Disappointed
- Familiarity:

I was optimistic about the update to this bag, but it fell short. The bag was well constructed, but the two main issues with the bag were, shoulder width and temp rating. I was looking for a bag that could handle between 20-30F. Camping with a low of 32F, the bag did not keep me warm and I tend to sleep warm. I am average size and the bag tightly locks in on my shoulders. I am returning the bag.

Light weight and Warm

Got this new sleeping bag in and it was warm and roomy. I'm 6ft tall and got the regular size bag and there is room for me. Didn't feel the need to get the long version. Zipper is pretty smooth. Still getting used to the draw stings on the hood, struggling a little to tighten and loosen the hood while the bag is zipped all the way up and I'm in it. But I'll figure it out. For the money, you cant get better than this bag. It came in around 2.6/2.7 lbs.
