Light and Comfy
My Klymit Static V Lite is the perfect middle ground - not too big, not too small. It’s super light, making it great for backpacking, and the V-shape is surprisingly comfy. Best of all, it doesn’t break the bank. For a lightweight pad that won’t let you down, this one’s a solid pick.

Works
Pad works well. Comfortable for side and back sleeping. It took a little to get used to the “gap” feeling in the pad between the baffles but that was only the initial few moments - after that it was comfortable. I found it a little less comfortable than one of my other pads at lower inflation and in the really cold. It has a lower R rating than my other one so as expected. I would be comfortable on this one down to 40 degrees.

good pad. works well. it could be a bit wider so that it stays under you better in a hammock setup.

Great compact sleep pad.
I just returned from a late September archery elk hunt at 12,000 feet living out of my backpack and this made all the difference in getting a good nights rest after a hard day. The only complaint I would have is that my sleeping bag would slide on the sleeping pad and if not completely level ground, you end up off the pad.

Static V Lite
I've been using this on camping trips for years for solo sleeping arrangements. In my opinion the only thing better would be the ultra-lite variation.

Good pad for the price
Klymit has a weight of 20oz for this pad on their website and expert voice lists it as 19.6. Mine weighs in at 22.6oz without the stuff sack. Makes me wonder whether the listed R-value is accurate. Also note, mine did not come with a patch kit like my previous Klymit pads.

Why did I wait so long?
Light and insulated? Yes and yes. Will be ready for the next winter season wandering the Grand Canyon.
